  “Following our conversation with Premier Electric, it’s clear they weren’t able to discontinue the automatic transfer switch’s connection to the customer-supplied generator. They explained that the systems are fundamentally incompatible, and any attempt to make them work together would require significant, and likely unsafe, modifications to the generator itself, essentially invalidating the product’s safety listing.” report abuse
