  Overall, we were incredibly pleased with the entire RES team – Melissa, Scott, Landon, and Lance – and the smooth way this project unfolded. Melissa was fantastic, always quick to answer our questions about parts, the system, and what the crew needed. Her responsiveness and willingness to listen were truly appreciated. Scott, Landon, and Lance were all outstanding; we were particularly impressed with their strong work ethic, their teamwork, and the depth of their knowledge. They were incredibly respectful and considerate, and we especially noticed how well they kept their rooms. It made everything so much easier for us. It was a fantastic win-win situation, and we’re thrilled to be up and running thanks to everyone’s hard work. We’re so grateful for the entire team – we know your boss should be very proud! And, on a slightly unusual note, our lab dog, Kodi, seems a little down now that they’ve left – he spends his time watching the sliding glass doors! report abuse

  “As seasoned RVers – we’ve been traveling full-time for over 11 years and have clocked up more than 160,000 miles – we were really impressed with the service we received from Renewable Energy Systems. We were looking to upgrade our Vanleigh Vilano with solar power, and it was proving incredibly difficult to find a reliable shop that could fit us in. Most places had appointments months out, and some simply didn’t return our calls. Thankfully, we connected with Fred Groendyke in Wasilla, who took the time to really understand our needs and scheduled us for the work. Jim Rush, the installer, was fantastic – he was incredibly knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly, and made sure we felt completely comfortable with the installation. They went above and beyond, consulting with both Tiffin and the inverter manufacturer to guarantee compatibility and safety. The result was fantastic! Our first night out, completely off-grid, was seamless. Even with the Alaskan summer evening fading, the new lithium batteries and solar panels kept up with our power needs perfectly. It’s a huge relief not having to rely on a generator, considering the weight, maintenance, and restrictions it would have imposed. Plus, we were able to take advantage of the Solar Tax Credit through the Inflation Reduction Act – and we really appreciated Fred’s Veteran’s discount.   “I’m so incredibly grateful for R.E.S. – their solar system has given me the peace of mind to truly be self-sufficient on my off-grid property. I recently ran into a problem with my inverter, and thankfully Eddie in Fairbanks was absolutely fantastic. He walked me through everything so patiently, and really helped me troubleshoot until we found the solution.   “We were absolutely thrilled with the service we received from Renewable Energy Systems! We had a critical need for a new solar setup for our remote weather station, and they were incredibly responsive and efficient. They got everything installed – four batteries, a new panel, and a charge controller – completed in under an hour and at a really reasonable price. But the best part was their willingness to deliver the goods to the airport before noon.   Overall, I’ve been really pleased with RES – they’ve been easy to work with and very helpful. Looking back, I wish I’d asked more about the different power options, like the distinction between off-grid and on-grid systems. It would have given me a broader understanding of what was available. I’m excited to get the panels installed and see how they perform, and the batteries seem to work really well during our testing simulations. report abuse

  Overall, we had a fantastic experience with RES. They really listened to what we were looking for – a solar power upgrade for our camper – and helped us find the perfect solution. They offered some great suggestions that we hadn’t considered, which really enhanced our camping plans. What stood out was how professional and helpful they were, never pressuring us at all.
