  “I’m incredibly frustrated with Flooring Gurus and the situation with my new vinyl flooring. Three years ago, I worked with Joey at Flooring Gurus to install a waterproof vinyl plank from Decor Flooring Distributor. Now, the flooring is constantly curling, popping up, and cracking. Both Flooring Gurus and the distributor have inspected the floor and both agree it needs to be replaced. The distributor specifically pointed out that the humidity is too high for the planks, and that a moisture barrier should have been installed – which, to my surprise, wasn’t done. It’s a 20-year warranty floor, and now I’m left with a seriously warped floor that’s creating a real safety hazard for my family. The planks are sticking up, and people are tripping over them. I’m now covering the entire floor with a rug just to prevent accidents. Honestly, I feel completely let down and misled, and it’s unacceptable that no one is taking responsibility to fix this major problem.” report abuse

  Overall, the experience was really disappointing. While the trim work was beautifully done – truly professional – the initial work caused a significant amount of damage. They damaged freshly painted walls and baseboards, and we ended up having to spend extra time and money patching and repainting ourselves. The flooring installation was also problematic; the hardwood is already cupping after just being laid, and there was an issue with the floor not being properly prepared under the toilet flange in the half bath. Customer service was unhelpful, suggesting a plumbing issue when it was clearly a flooring preparation problem. Despite the quick turnaround of two days to install the hardwood, the quality of the final product was let down by these other issues. report abuse

  “I was so impressed with Flooring Gurus! They did an absolutely fantastic job with my floors, and they turned out beautifully. I got three quotes, and they were by far the most reasonable. Plus, they were incredibly reliable – they always arrived on time each day. They really went above and beyond, working tirelessly all day, and the store had a great selection with staff who were very knowledgeable.   “We absolutely loved working with Ava and her team! They did an incredible job sanding and refinishing our hardwood floors – the transformation is absolutely stunning, and we have about 2000 square feet of beautiful new floors. From the start, Ava provided a clear and honest estimate with no hidden fees, which we really appreciated. They also took care of our carpet installation, including four bedrooms, and did a fantastic job. We did have to adjust the installation dates a few times, and they were incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout the process.
