  “I’ve been consistently impressed with Powers Steel – both the quality of their metal structures and their service. It’s really reassuring to see a company of their size still takes individual orders seriously, like the 18-foot hay barn and carport we had built. Honestly, the craftsmanship is outstanding; we even had folks driving in from California to get their residential projects done by them.” report abuse

  “I recently purchased a solar steel full cantilever carport from Powers in Phoenix, and honestly, the whole process was a bit of a rollercoaster. Initially, getting a salesperson to respond to my inquiries was incredibly difficult, but thankfully Pam connected me with Kevin Aylesworth, who handled the sales. It took nearly a year of submitting applications, but finally, the third attempt was successful. As a California general contractor, I was looking for this carport for my own home. While I appreciate the thorough engineering Powers provided, it was noticeably expensive – almost double what I expected. The team was very courteous, though perhaps a little dismissive of a smaller residential project. I was hoping to build a business around these types of carports, but the experience left me feeling like they’re primarily set up for larger commercial jobs. Despite the friendly interaction with Kevin, the process was slow, and I ultimately feel like I overpaid for the engineering. I’d definitely recommend caution – Buyer Beware.” report abuse
