  “I can’t recommend Hayes Construction and their team – Jeff Murphy and Kevin McShane – highly enough! From the very beginning, Jeff was incredible. He walked me through the entire process of restoring my home after the fire, and everything he promised was exactly what I received. What really stood out was his knowledge of both construction and the insurance process; I always felt like I had a true advocate on my side. He was so responsive, answering every call, email, and text so quickly, and it genuinely felt like working with a trusted friend. And Kevin McShane was fantastic too, especially with the mitigation and cleaning. He was a real expert in fire science and he took the time to explain everything we needed to do, pointing out things we hadn't even considered. It was so reassuring to have someone so knowledgeable and caring handling our property. Honestly, my husband and I are absolutely thrilled with the beautiful work they did – it's even better than we could have imagined! But beyond the quality of the work, it’s the people that made all the difference. If Hayes Construction employs people like Jeff and Kevin, they’re truly a company anyone would be delighted with.” report abuse

  I am incredibly disappointed with my experience working with Hayes Construction. From the moment my kitchen sink sprung a leak a year ago, I’ve been stuck in a frustrating cycle of delays and broken promises. Despite having seen positive reviews, they turned out to be completely misleading. Since October 4th, 2020, I’ve been repeatedly told that the issue was simply waiting for cabinets from Lowe’s, and it wasn’t until July 21st, 2021, that they finally admitted there was no resolution. They consistently pushed the blame onto Lowe’s for significant delays, adding another six months to the wait. I attempted to be patient, understanding the challenges posed by COVID and shipping issues, but ultimately, I was left with a completely unfinished kitchen for over a year, constantly having to initiate contact just to get basic information. It’s truly unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. report abuse

  My grandmother, Alyce, was absolutely thrilled with the work Rob did on her basement. He was so respectful and genuinely nice – she really appreciated his professionalism. She was so impressed with the quality of his work that she thinks he absolutely deserves a significant raise and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing similar repairs. report abuse

  Steve and his team at Hayes did an absolutely fantastic job remodeling our master bathroom. We’ve used them for renovations over the last 15 years, and we’ve always been really impressed with the quality of their work and the competitive prices. They’re incredibly reliable – always on time, work hard, and leave the site spotless at the end of each day. Plus, Steve, our project manager, was fantastic to work with; he was so knowledgeable and gave us realistic expectations about both the cost and the timeline. report abuse

  “I’m so incredibly impressed with Hayes – Jeff Murphy and his team (AJ and Terry) were fantastic. I’ve now used them twice, and I wholeheartedly recommend them. They’re truly professional and treat your home and family with the utmost respect – they went above and beyond, laying down drop cloths, cleaning up everything, and patiently answered all my questions. What really stood out was their punctuality; they were always there a few minutes early for our appointments.   Overall, Hays did a good job with our new porch. They completed the project on schedule and the price was fair – it was comparable to other quotes we received. While we were pleased with the timing and cost, we did have a couple of minor concerns about the quality. The post caps weren’t perfectly straight, and the glue and caulking could have been applied a bit more precisely. report abuse
