  Working with Heartland Custom Homes was an absolutely fantastic experience. Brice Nelson was truly exceptional – so helpful and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible home-building journey. He had a great understanding of every detail involved, and Jason Jones was a huge asset too, especially with the design and material choices. Brennan Nelson really got everything off to a smooth start and guided us through the initial design process. And I want to give a big shout-out to the subcontractors; they were all incredibly skilled and professional.   I’ve had a really positive experience working with Brice and Heartland Custom Homes. Brice himself is incredibly knowledgeable – he’s been in the construction business his whole life, and you can tell he really knows his stuff. I’ve spoken to several people who’ve used Heartland, and the one consistent comment I hear is just how fast they work and how reliable their pricing is – they actually guarantee their prices! They also go above and beyond, providing detailed 3D renderings of the finished house, both inside and out, which gave us a really clear picture of what we were building.   Heartland Custom Homes truly blew us away. We built our house with them over 10 years ago, and honestly, we expected some of the usual post-build adjustments, but they completely surpassed our expectations – more like 1,000 times over! We’re so thrilled with the quality of their work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to build or even remodel.   Honestly, I would strongly advise against hiring Heartland Construction to build your home. We had a really frustrating experience with them. They used a subcontractor, Pasdra, to pour our basement floor, and unfortunately, the job was riddled with errors. Despite knowing we had in-floor heating installed beforehand, Pasdra cut right through the heating system during the concrete pour. The owner, Bryce, initially promised to fix it, but then completely backed out. As a result, our heating contractor ended up covering the entire cost of the mistake – which felt completely unfair. It wasn’t just this one incident; we’d been calling them repeatedly over the past year for warranty work, and they never showed up or followed through on anything. It’s clear they don’t honor their commitments, and we wouldn’t recommend them. report abuse
