“Overall, we had a few challenges during this process. We were very happy with the scheduled appointment in the morning, however, the installation ultimately took place later in the afternoon which wasn’t ideal. Additionally, we were unexpectedly presented with an additional part cost for the dishwasher, despite the plumber confirming it wasn’t necessary. The insistence on this extra charge, and the threat of cancelling the installation if we didn't pay, was quite concerning and left us feeling a little surprised and frustrated.”

Here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the text: “I’m incredibly frustrated with this company. It took them an astonishing three years to respond to my initial review, and frankly, it felt like a complete disregard for my concerns. I’d already resolved the issue within days of posting my review, making their belated response feel incredibly ironic. Communication has been consistently terrible – they never return calls, and when you do manage to get through, the service is condescending. It seems they primarily work with large retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s, and I suspect their contractual agreements are the reason for such poor service. Getting a simple installation took four days of persistent calls, and even then, I received no communication about the installation timeline. They didn't even inform me when the technicians would arrive. The installers themselves were competent, but missed a crucial step – a bubble test on the gas line – which I had to complete myself. Overall, I strongly advise against using this company for any plumbing or home services work. You're likely to be severely disappointed.”

Jeremy and Brandon were fantastic – really professional and efficient. They arrived on time, got the range installed quickly, and, importantly, left the area spotless. I really appreciate their hard work and attention to detail.

I had a really frustrating experience with the delivery of a new dishwasher I ordered from Best Buy. The delivery team seemed completely disorganized – they immediately started messing with my plumbing under the sink, discovered a small leak, and disassembled the dishwasher without even asking if I wanted them to. Unfortunately, this resulted in a major leak. Worse, they refused to install the dishwasher unless I paid an extra $67 for a permit fee, which I strongly disagreed with. Feeling like I was being pressured, they ultimately just left the dishwasher and my old one untouched, despite me having already paid Best Buy for the installation and removal of the old unit. Honestly, I’m incredibly disappointed that Best Buy still uses this company – it felt like a blatant scam.

I had a really frustrating experience with this company. They were supposed to be handling a project for me through Best Buy, but ultimately, they didn’t do any work. I had to cancel my order with Best Buy due to the incredibly poor customer service I received from Holly – she was incredibly rude and unresponsive. I repeatedly asked for a callback, and never heard back. Both Best Buy and this company provided a lot of confusing and inaccurate information, leaving me feeling completely in the dark. It was clear they didn’t prioritize my needs, and then they even tried to charge me a bogus permit fee, which I was able to confirm with the city didn’t require one. They demanded a check for $89.90, and frankly, the whole process felt completely disrespectful.

“I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with MN Plumbing. From start to finish, it was a series of frustrating and unacceptable issues. The installer was an hour late, completely missed the scheduled arrival time, and then installed my new appliance off-center, requiring me to drill new holes in my flooring. It was a ridiculously simple fix—a quick measurement would have prevented this entirely. Adding to the problem, one of the installers damaged a garden light on the way out, seemingly just sticking it back in the ground after knocking it over. Then, they added a hidden charge of $130 for a valve they’d installed themselves – a cost I could have easily handled myself for under $5 at Home Depot. But the worst part was the complete lack of accountability. The customer service representative seemed uninterested in resolving the issues and simply directed me to Best Buy. It felt like they didn’t care about my experience at all. Honestly, the quality of the work was poor, the customer service was appalling, and they overcharged me. I strongly advise anyone considering using MN Plumbing to look elsewhere – there are much better plumbing companies in the Twin Cities.”

“I was really pleased with the service I received from MN Plumbing and Appliance Installation. They did two installations for me – a dishwasher and a gas dryer – both through Best Buy, and both times Eric and Nate were the technicians. They were incredibly professional and friendly; they called the day before to confirm a time window, and were even really considerate, offering to take their shoes off when they were inside. They patiently answered all my questions, even the silly ones! I especially appreciated that they took the time to explain the gas update for the dryer and gave me a clear estimate beforehand. The whole process was so smooth and easy, I wouldn’t hesitate to use MN Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.”

Overall, I’m really happy with the new dishwasher I got from Best Buy. It was installed quickly within the promised timeframe, and they even took care of upgrading my plumbing to meet code – which included adding a hammer valve, thankfully. The installation crew was fantastic; they were efficient and cleaned up everything really well. My only frustration is with the city’s requirements; they insist on a permit for a dishwasher – it just seems a little excessive.

“I was really disappointed with the service I received for my dishwasher installation. Despite a major snowstorm, the installer showed up on time, but then completely disappeared. Two hours went by with no communication whatsoever – no updates, no explanation. Honestly, it’s unacceptable to just leave a customer hanging like that. In today’s world, clear communication is essential, and this company failed spectacularly on that front. It’s one thing to cancel due to weather, but it’s completely different to not even let me know what was happening. Seeing that another customer had a similar experience today really highlights a serious lack of accountability; they only respond to positive reviews, which shows they aren't truly listening to their customers’ concerns. I wouldn't choose to do business with them again.”

Overall, our experience with the installation of our new washer and dryer through Best Buy was disappointing. We paid Best Buy the full price for both appliances at the time of purchase, but we were unexpectedly charged an additional $240 in installation parts fees. While we understand the $80 for the gas dryer permit, the $160 for the installation and venting was completely unexpected and wasn’t covered in our original agreement. The installation itself seemed alright, aside from the washer not being properly leveled, so I’m giving them two stars. It’s frustrating that we were hit with these extra charges after already paying Best Buy for the entire job.
