Overall, our experience with Gerber Plumbing was extremely frustrating and ultimately unsuccessful. They were brought in by the city of Clare to replace our water lines, and the process was riddled with problems. They drilled through every beam in our basement, creating a huge mess of sawdust, and then failed to check for leaks, leading to a massive water spewing situation that wasn't discovered until late at night. The city had to intervene at 10 PM to address the issue, and it turned out they’d run the meter all the way to the back of our property – the reason for all the damage. After that was corrected, they further disrupted our yard, despite our husband’s inquiry about potential digging, and their “repair” looks awful. We’re now planning to pay a professional landscaping company to properly restore the yard. Honestly, we wouldn’t recommend Gerber Plumbing – it was a deeply negative experience.
