  “We were really pleased with the initial price – it was $50 less than another company offered. However, unfortunately, the service we received was very disappointing. The technicians were incredibly slow, and they couldn’t even get the pump running correctly. Worse still, they accidentally blew all of our DE filter into the pool, and they didn’t even acknowledge it. We’d specifically asked about whether the opening service included cleaning the pool walls, and Guy had assured us it did, promising 15 minutes of scrubbing. But they didn’t do any wall cleaning at all, and when we pointed that out, they insisted he’d never said that – even though I had notes from our conversation confirming his statement. Since the opening, we’ve been having issues with DE leaking into the pool, and we even found a broken piece from inside the pump. It’s clear there were significant issues with the work they performed, and we won’t be using their services again.” report abuse

  Honestly, our experience with this company was really disappointing. We hired them to clean our pool, and initially the work wasn’t up to par. However, things improved after a few attempts. We then scheduled a filter clean and received an invoice, but our communication was completely unprofessional. We texted to confirm payment and received a response that was incredibly disrespectful. Needless to say, we’ve decided to find a new pool cleaning service – we wouldn't recommend them. report abuse

  “I’ve been using Angel’s pool service for years to open and close our in-ground pool, and I’ve always been really impressed. They’re consistently more affordable than other companies like Leslie’s, especially for chlorine pool work. Guy Thomas, the owner, is a genuinely fair and honest guy – I’ve always appreciated working with him. I remember one time we needed a new Polaris pool pump, and Guy actually found it for a better price than any wholesaler. He didn’t hesitate at all to match that price, which is exactly the kind of service you want. Honestly, a lot of other contractors I’ve dealt with in the past wouldn’t have been so flexible. They’re incredibly reliable, always show up on time, and they’re really responsive. I especially appreciate that they always get back to me within a day – it’s a huge time saver for me with my busy work schedule.” report abuse

  “I’ve had to get quotes from a few different pool services – Gallagher’s, Leslie’s, Sweetwater, and Angel’s Pool Service. Angel’s Pool Service really stood out. They called me back within a day, were super friendly and efficient with their service, and I felt like they were honest and fair with their pricing. Honestly, they were the best value compared to the other companies I contacted. I’d definitely recommend them and plan on using their services again.” report abuse

  “Overall, our experience with this company was really disappointing. We initially liked that they offered a price $50 less than our competitor, but unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to that price. The technicians were very slow, and they struggled to get the pump working properly. Worse yet, they accidentally blasted all the DE from the filter directly into the pool. To add to the frustration, they initially told my husband during booking that the service included wall brushing, but they never actually did any brushing at all and insisted they don’t offer that service. We also noticed some issues that seemed to have been present since the company opened – there’s been a slow leak of DE and a plastic piece from inside the pump came loose on the jet. They just removed the cover, blew DE around the pool, and left us with a broken part. We’ll definitely be going with a different company for the repair.” report abuse

  “I’ve been a customer for seven years now and I can honestly say I’ve always been incredibly impressed. They’re incredibly responsive whenever I call and the owner even went out of his way to fix my pool filter on a holiday before a party – that’s amazing service!   “Unfortunately, the pool opening services were really disappointing. From the start, the initial vacuuming wasn’t done properly, and I ended up having to do it myself. Then, when I vacuumed and backwashed, no DE came out – it was as if it had never been added. The pool was shockingly filthy, and it seemed like whatever was covering it was just dumped in there. To make matters worse, the filter still isn’t working correctly; it’s still green and doesn’t seem to be filtering properly, even after I balanced the pH and chlorinated the water. I even had to use primary shock because the chlorinator didn’t seem to be functioning. And the heater isn't working at all. Honestly, it felt like nothing was actually completed to the expected standard. When I contacted them to discuss these issues, I was told I’d need to pay for a service call just to fix the work that hadn’t even been done in the first place.” report abuse
