  I was absolutely thrilled with the service I received! There was an issue with the water in my cabin, but Phil responded incredibly quickly – he came out, diagnosed the problem, and got it fixed within just a couple of hours, even while it was raining. He followed up the next day to ensure everything was working perfectly, and thankfully, he also resolved that issue right away. Phil was fantastic – friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.   “I had a really positive experience with Gilk’s – I was having trouble with my A/C and called them up. I’m so glad I did! They were incredibly efficient; James took the time to understand exactly what I needed and gave me a fair price very quickly, unlike some other companies that wasted my time with extra measurements.   Janice Albrecht was incredibly impressed with Brandon who worked on our plumbing. He was professional, patient, and incredibly efficient – truly a pleasure to have in our home. He came twice and, honestly, he’s been by far the best tradesperson we’ve ever had work on our property.   “I contacted Gilk’s after hearing a leak under my mobile home in Cold Spring – my park manager recommended them. They immediately demanded a $250 deposit just to send someone out, which felt incredibly unfair, especially considering I live in the trailer park. It was like they were discriminating against me. After a long silence, I just asked when they could come, but they wouldn’t even respond! Ultimately, I decided to go with ROTOROOTER, who were able to come out and look at the plumbing issue for free – they didn't seem to care where I lived.” report abuse

  Overall, my experience with Roto-Rooter was disappointing. They initially came out to address a root problem in my pipes, and while they did use a camera to show the extent of the issue, the technicians seemed rushed and frustrated, staying well past 5 PM. Honestly, I’m not a plumbing expert, and I just assumed everything was going as it should. However, the same problem returned about three weeks later, and they essentially just repeated the process further down the pipe. It felt like a simple fix that wasn’t handled efficiently the first time. Thankfully, the work was completed successfully after the second visit, but I wouldn’t recommend Roto-Rooter based on this experience. report abuse
