Harring Construction’s work on my property resulted in significant damage to my foundation and crawl space, and I’m extremely disappointed with the outcome. They failed to properly grade the property and install an adequate drainage system, ultimately exacerbating water problems. Specifically, their grading of the neighboring uphill property and the redirection of roof runoff created excessive surface water and groundwater intrusion into my foundation. Following a major rainstorm and Harring Construction’s overwatering of new sod, my foundation drain system completely failed, flooding my conditioned crawl space – an estimated $35,000 was initially required for repairs. The issue stemmed from several critical installation errors: the foundation drain pipe wasn’t buried to the footer level and was resting on crushed rock, and they drilled a hole in my foundation wall without proper sealing. The inspector, Mr. Johnson, attributed the problem to grass in the drain opening, but this seems highly improbable given the hydrostatic pressure and the design of the system. I brought this to the attention of the county, but even Mr. Johnson failed to fully investigate the situation. He missed the fact that the drain was buried and crushed, and he didn’t note the substandard installation of the interior French drain. Furthermore, his report didn't acknowledge the increased subsurface groundwater pressure Harring Construction created by directing rainwater toward my foundation. The evidence – including pictures of a 18-inch deep hole filled with groundwater – clearly demonstrates the direct impact of their work. report abuse

“I’m extremely concerned about a recent attempt to deposit funds into my account through this company. I have solid proof, including photos from my bank, showing that this was a fraudulent attempt. They’re not responding to my calls or my bank’s, which is a huge red flag. I want to warn everyone – do not trust this company.” report abuse
