  Overall, we’ve been really pleased with the solar installation through this company. They provided us with the top-rated REC Alpha panels and offered the best warranties on both the labor and materials, which gave us a lot of confidence. The only bit of a snag was a delay of about two and a half months in receiving our net metering credits due to a software migration, but they handled the reimbursement quickly and efficiently – we really appreciated that. report abuse

  Overall, we’re really pleased with Dominion – it was a great experience from start to finish. We initially started looking at different solar providers and Dominion stood out because they offered a significantly better price, beating out the competition by 18%. But it wasn’t just the cost; the customer service was fantastic. Our contact, Keoni Rison, was a breath of fresh air. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, never pushy at all. When we had to put things on hold temporarily due to another commitment, Keoni was really understanding and gave us the space we needed. Now that we’ve completed the site survey and are waiting for the next steps, we’re really excited to finally switch on our solar panels – we’ll be sure to update our review once we’ve done that! report abuse

  Overall, Dominion Energy Solutions stood out to me among the five companies that submitted proposals for my home in Gloucester, VA. Dillon Overstreet was fantastic – he presented a really professional and clear proposal, which was a big help since I’d already done some research on solar myself. His numbers were comparable to the others in terms of equipment and energy production, and what really sealed the deal was the fact that Dominion Energy would be backing up the system. Honestly, my wife and I are in our late 80s, so Dillon’s thoughtful suggestion to carefully consider the investment at our age was incredibly valuable. We ultimately decided to go with Virginia Solar United Neighbors and my investment advisor’s recommendations, and they both advised against moving forward. I’m so glad Dillon understood and wished us well – he was a genuinely considerate professional. I also want to mention that an article in the Daily Press News about protecting yourself from scams in rooftop solar really helped me learn more about the whole process – a great resource!   “I was really impressed with the BrightSuite team. They were so upfront and didn’t try to pressure me at all during the offer process. Once I got started, they handled everything so seamlessly – scheduling the installation and taking care of all the paperwork with the county. And the installation team was fantastic; they were incredibly considerate of my property and left no mess at all, working around my landscaping perfectly.   The installation team was fantastic – they arrived right on time and really knew what they were doing. You could tell they’d done this kind of work before, and they were incredibly efficient. They quickly got the roof prepared while the materials were organized, and finished the roof installation completely before lunch. The electricians arrived just as they were wrapping up, and the whole job was finished and the area spotless by mid-afternoon. It looks really professional and well-done. Now I’m just waiting for the county inspection and my new meter from Dominion Energy so we can get everything connected and start generating power. report abuse
