  Overall, it was a really positive experience working with this company. The crew was fantastic – they were incredibly prompt and efficient, completing the installation of the 10 panels in just under four hours! My only suggestion would be to improve communication between the different stages of the process to ensure everything runs smoothly. A special shout-out to Adam Wright JR, Kevin Lilly, Kevin Schaller, Chris Jones, Leo Jurado, and Jesse Peak JR for their excellent work! report abuse

  “Overall, our experience with MSS was mixed. We were pleased with the installation crew – they were incredibly kind and professional. However, we encountered some significant issues regarding a payment arrangement we made after the system was installed in mid-October. MSS initially installed a $85,000 system at our home, and while our sales agent, Brad Parish, was upfront about our ability to delay the installation, we ultimately weren’t ready and asked them to hold off. To encourage us, MSS offered to pay our first two months of loan payments. We agreed and signed a DocuSign document outlining this agreement. Despite this, we haven’t received the promised $642 check after over two months. I’ve been trying to get updates from Brad, but he’s become increasingly difficult to reach. It feels like once the job was complete, MSS lost interest in our concerns. I’m hopeful this issue will be resolved quickly, and I’ll update the review once I receive the payment.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with MSS. We hired them to install a battery backup system, and it was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. To make matters worse, they completely disregarded me as the primary decision-maker and bill payer. My husband spent three days working on the installation, providing all the necessary tools, and yet they wouldn’t even discuss my concerns or acknowledge the significant effort involved. Given the scale of the project and my responsibility for it, I believe we deserve a credit for the issues we encountered. Sadly, I’ve received no communication from MSS whatsoever, and haven’t seen an invoice. Honestly, this is the worst company I've ever dealt with, even considering my experience with other contractors in the rental property business. I’m seriously considering pursuing further action and would appreciate it if you could delve into the specifics of our problems to fully understand the situation.” report abuse

  Michigan Solar Solutions were fantastic to work with. They really took the stress out of going solar, clearly explaining everything step-by-step. They were incredibly responsive to emails and I always got a call back within a day or so. What impressed me most was their willingness to work with my specific needs and preferences – they were happy to accommodate my requests. I appreciated that they weren’t pushy at all; they were happy to answer any questions I had, even if I’d gathered information from other sources. I had previously purchased solar panels from a different company, and they readily installed those for me, even though I hadn’t bought them from them.   Overall, I had a fantastic experience with MSS. From the initial design and planning stages, they really listened to my needs and answered all my questions thoroughly. They handled everything – from getting the permits and coordinating with the utility company – which was a huge relief. There was a small issue with the initial installation, but MSS addressed it incredibly quickly, replacing the incorrect Envoy box within a week. I’d absolutely recommend MSS to anyone considering solar in Michigan; they’re professional, responsive, and took care of everything! report abuse
