I’ve been a customer here for a long time, ever since Bill Kelly had it, and I’m really disappointed with the current management. The new guys have a pretty aggressive attitude and can come across as condescending. Their rules are incredibly strict, even for loyal customers like myself, and it feels like they’re taking things way too seriously. Honestly, they need to relax a bit and be more understanding. I’ll be going to Landry Tool Rental on Bennett Street in Lynn from now on.

I’d give Rent-All one star – I wouldn’t go back. After sending my lawn mower in, expecting a simple repair, I was incredibly disappointed with the service. Honestly, it’s partly my fault for not checking reviews beforehand, but the experience was shockingly poor. They’ve had complaints online, and frankly, it’s baffling that a family-owned business with over 50 years of operation couldn’t manage a basic repair. I sent in my mower with a trusted employee, knowing the problem, and received it back with the cable fixed at a cost of $58. However, the mower was still misfiring when I tried to use it. Despite the repair, it was clear they hadn’t properly addressed the issue. The owner, John, seemed completely disengaged, and when I asked about what had been done, he responded with a dismissive attitude. It was incredibly frustrating that they didn’t even start the mower to test the repair! They claimed they hadn’t touched the engine, which is completely unacceptable. It’s a service repair – surely they would have started it up to confirm the fix. Their response felt like a complete disregard for my time and the problem I brought them. Overall, it was a really frustrating and unprofessional experience. I’d strongly advise against using Rent-All until they improve their service standards – it’s simply not good enough.

However, when the truck arrived, it was a much larger, construction-style lift, and I was hit with a $300 delivery fee – which hadn’t been discussed at all. It felt like a complete rip-off and I won’t be renting from them again. I’ll be telling all my friends to avoid them as well. Honestly, if I’d known the total cost would be over $800, I would have simply walked away.”

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend going there. It seems like a complete scam – they falsely promise to resolve toll issues and then try to sell you lemons. It was a really negative experience overall.
