  “I was really surprised by this interaction. A week after initially inquiring about their services and receiving a detailed project outline, they suddenly stated they didn’t offer bids. When I pointed out that getting multiple bids is standard practice for projects of this size—we’re talking a $225-250,000 estimate for phase one of a two-phase project—they became incredibly defensive, even suggesting I didn’t understand their industry. I explained my experience in the multi-family development sector, including work on billion-dollar projects, but it didn't change their stance. Ultimately, it felt like they were dismissing me because of my accent, and I just ended the call. It was a frustrating experience, and frankly, I wouldn’t recommend them after this unusual response to a specific bid request.” report abuse
