  I was really disappointed with the installation of my new vinyl flooring. I was originally told it would take 12 days, but it actually took three weeks to complete. Only one person did the work, and when it was finished, the kitchen quarter round and stair nose weren’t installed – and they were the wrong size, being at least four inches too short. They left my garage a complete mess and didn’t even put my toilet back in or install my dishwasher. I’ve been working with Home Depot for two weeks trying to get this sorted out, but I haven't received any return calls or communication at all. The lack of professionalism and service has been incredibly frustrating. report abuse

  I was incredibly frustrated with my recent experience with Home Depot. I placed an order in May for tile and it wasn’t until the end of July that I finally received the materials, due to the high demand. Then, just the day before the scheduled installation, I was given incredibly short notice that they needed to reschedule – pushing the job back to September. This completely threw off my plans with new renters who were scheduled to move in after the work was finished, leaving me with a massive cleanup. I felt completely unsupported and disappointed by the lack of communication and any attempts to find an alternative solution, especially considering the current labor shortages. report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with the flooring installation – it’s absolutely fantastic! Seriously, this was by far the best vinyl install I’ve ever had. I’m a bit of an OCD person when it comes to my floors, and I honestly couldn’t find a single flaw. The team was incredibly professional, especially with the scheduling, and the customer service was top-notch.   I’m really disappointed with the service we received. Honestly, I can only give them one star – it felt like the lowest I could go. The technician was consistently late, and I ended up wasting an entire day waiting for him. To make matters worse, they informed us they didn’t have the correct grout color and couldn’t even identify what was used on the rest of the bathroom. After promising to get the right color, he never returned. Working with both Home Depot and this contracting company has been a complete nightmare. The finished work is also terrible – they used two different grout colors, and it looks incredibly unprofessional. I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to look for an alternative. report abuse
