  Overall, I had a really positive experience with this door company. They completely customized a door to my exact measurements, and it fits perfectly – a huge improvement over those cheaper, pre-made panels you see online. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, this isn’t it; it’s a more premium product. What really stood out was how well-made it is and the fact that I didn't even need to remove the existing door track to install it! AJ was fantastic too – he was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all my questions throughout the process. The only downsides were the price (around $900 with shipping for an 8ft door) and the fairly long lead time – it took about 4-6 weeks to get the finished product. But honestly, considering the quality and the custom fit, I’d absolutely recommend it and the door still looks great and functions perfectly, even with my two energetic golden doodles using the pet door! report abuse

  I couldn't be happier with our new pet door! From the very beginning, the whole experience was incredibly easy and stress-free. Everyone we dealt with – AJ, the installers, Corey, and Nick – were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond. Scheduling appointments via text was a brilliant idea, and they were always punctual and professional. The installation itself was quick and really well done. The pet door itself is fantastic quality, and honestly, it’s made a huge difference in our daily lives. Our dogs absolutely love having the freedom to come and go, and I’m so grateful I don’t have to constantly open and close the door.   I’m really disappointed with my experience ordering a pet door from PET DOOR PRODUCT. While the product itself seems good, the whole process was a huge hassle. I was initially given a timeframe of 4 to 6 weeks for my custom door, accounting for potential COVID delays, but it took nearly three months to arrive. Then, they added another two weeks because they hadn’t ordered the correct frame to fit my door. Once they finally installed it, my dog just couldn’t get over it – they kept getting stuck on their belly. What really upset me was how they handled the situation. The manager insisted that because I’d signed the paperwork, it was ultimately my fault, and they offered to adjust the price of a brand new door. I ended up paying $1200 for the first door and $675 for the second, and it turns out a third-party installer did the work – who, by the way, said the problem was incredibly simple. It’s clear that other customers have had similar issues, and honestly, it’s frustrating to have spent so much money and have such a negative experience.
