  “I was incredibly frustrated with the entire experience. After months of trying to get Smart Shield Systems, who sold and installed the system, to send a technician to diagnose and fix a clear hardware failure – the device simply wasn’t working – they repeatedly insisted it was a problem with my input or the batteries. Despite my repeated explanations that the device itself was faulty, they wouldn’t send anyone. Finally, after all that, a technician confirmed my suspicions and ordered a replacement. However, just a few days later, a critical CO2 sensor failed, triggering a persistent, alarming alarm that we couldn’t silence. We were left with no functional security system and no one to help us. It was completely unacceptable that we couldn’t resolve this issue remotely or with simple adjustments. We ended up having to manually remove the sensor and controller, effectively disabling a system we’d paid a significant sum to have repaired. Because of this, we’ll be filing separate complaints against both Dynamark and Smart Shield Systems. We also won’t be paying the $916.65 claim – it’s completely unwarranted.” report abuse

  “We had a really unsettling experience when our house was burglarized, and unfortunately, our existing security company didn’t respond quickly enough. We decided to look for a new monitoring system, and Smart Shield Systems really stood out thanks to their positive reviews. Ron came to our house on Sunday after we called on Saturday – he was fantastic, thoroughly checked everything, and gave us a clear price quote right then and there. We quickly decided to go with them, and they managed to get us scheduled for installation within the same week. The installation team, led by Yud and Tony, were absolutely brilliant! They were so professional, friendly, and patient, taking the time to explain everything and showing us how to use the system. Even when we needed to add some extra equipment during the installation, the accounting was handled perfectly.   “I was really wanting to get into home automation, so I did some searching on Yelp and Google and found Smart Shield Systems. I sent a quick request through the Yelp app and got a response almost immediately – thankfully! Ron came to my house to walk me through all their options, and I ended up choosing most of them. He even gave me a great discount, and the installation cost was really reasonable. A couple of days later, two guys showed up who were incredibly professional, and they completely installed all the smart devices – cameras inside and out, smoke and motion detectors, thermostats, locks, a doorbell camera, and even a garage controller. They also set up the apps and my user interface on their website, which controls everything. I’ve only had a short time to play with it so far, but everything seems really high quality and it’s all working together seamlessly.
