  We are absolutely thrilled with the incredible work the Reverence team, and especially Brett, did on our dream home! Every day, my husband and I are so happy with our renovated space – it’s truly become our haven. Brett’s dedication to detail, combined with his deep knowledge and really thoughtful recommendations, were absolutely invaluable, especially as first-time remodelers tackling a big project like expanding our kitchen and bedrooms. He was a key part of the design process and even stepped in to support us when we encountered some challenges with the general contractor.   “We just finished a major remodel – 4,000 square feet with a lot of changes, including taking down walls and relocating the kitchen – and honestly, it wouldn’t have been nearly as smooth without Reverence. They weren’t just our structural engineers; they handled the entire process, from design to getting all the necessary permits. Summer was fantastic from the very beginning, always responsive and incredibly helpful during what can be a really stressful time. They kept us informed every step of the way with weekly updates, anticipating questions before we even asked them. The project itself was quite complex, particularly working with the county’s various departments and installing the steel supports. But Reverence expertly guided us through every detail. Their initial plan submission was returned with just minor changes requested by the county, which was a huge relief. But here’s the really amazing part: we decided to push our start date forward by 90 days to take advantage of favorable tariffs and labor costs. Because Reverence had such a strong grasp of the project from the outset, we were able to capitalize on that timing and save a significant amount of money on materials and appliances. If you're considering a remodel, trust me, you need a partner you can rely on. I’m a very detail-oriented person, and I learned a *lot* about windows, cabinets, load-bearing walls – you name it! Make sure you have the right team behind you, especially because things inevitably go wrong during a remodel.   “We were thrilled with the work Brett and the team at Reverence did for us. We had a really ambitious renovation in mind – opening up our kitchen and expanding it a bit, while also splitting our second master bedroom into two separate rooms. What really set them apart was Brett’s knowledge, how responsive he was, and the way he presented his pricing. We especially appreciated that they offered both engineering and drafting services. Honestly, we quickly realized the project was going to be more involved than we initially thought, and Brett was fantastic at walking us through all the different options, carefully considering the design, cost, and potential structural challenges. He’s a really skilled communicator, explaining things clearly, both verbally and with diagrams, and he even took the time to really educate me about the technical aspects – which I found fascinating! Through a lot of collaboration, we were able to work through some tricky structural issues and create a plan we were confident in. The permitting process was surprisingly smooth, and Brett handled everything quickly and efficiently. During construction, there were a few adjustments needed as we uncovered more about the existing structure, but Brett worked closely with our general contractor to make those changes seamlessly.
