  “Working with AT6 was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, Jason and his team helped me bring my dream home to life on a plot in Mill Valley, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I’d previously worked with Jason as an architect, and I knew he was a brilliant designer, but I was genuinely surprised by his skills as a builder too. The whole team was incredibly organized and remarkably calm, even when we had to make lots of changes – which we did! They always kept me informed, presenting me with options and ensuring I was on track, which was invaluable given my busy schedule. What really stood out was how they managed the budget; we finished the multi-million dollar build within just 5% of the original cost! It’s a testament to their expertise and planning. And they delivered the house on time – something that’s rare these days. I’ve become a huge advocate for the design/build approach, and AT6 completely proved its worth. It was so much more efficient than dealing with separate architects and builders. Their builder’s mindset meant they anticipated challenges and minimized costly complications. The finished home is absolutely stunning – it’s a beautiful, functional space that everyone who visits is amazed by. I couldn't be more satisfied with the process and the final result. They’ve even remained responsive long after the build was complete, offering support whenever I’ve had a question.   Honestly, my experience with this company was incredibly frustrating. They were fantastic at the design phase – the team was really helpful, and the architectural and engineering work was done collaboratively, though it was expensive. However, the actual build was a complete disaster. There were serious quality issues throughout, including a leaking roof, defective glass, uneven floors, and plumb walls. The biggest problem was the constant lack of oversight and the poor quality of the subcontractors. After two years of problems, we’re still dealing with unresolved issues, and the worst of it is a brand-new, completely useless HVAC system that was swapped out without any communication or approval. They essentially abandoned the project, and I’m now involved in legal proceedings. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company at all. report abuse

  “We owe AT6 Design-Build an enormous thank you for helping us rebuild our dream home after a devastating storm. In 2018, they completely transformed our 1930s house, and we were thrilled with the beautiful, functional space they created. Sadly, a storm in 2023 caused significant damage, and we were forced to evacuate. However, Jason and his team were incredibly supportive from the very beginning, stepping in to help us rebuild. They expertly managed the entire process, from creating detailed floor plans and securing the building permit to carefully selecting every detail – the tiles in the bathrooms, the paint colors, everything. What truly impressed us was their incredible organization; they coordinated a fantastic team of skilled subcontractors, ensuring a steady flow of work with no wasted time. It was a remarkably efficient and seamless process, and we were so grateful for their dedication and compassion during such a stressful time. They really went above and beyond to make sure our home was rebuilt quickly and to our satisfaction – it’s now truly a home again, and we’re so thankful for everything AT6 did for us.” report abuse

  “Jason and the AT6 team were absolutely fantastic to work with. We’ve used several contractors over the years, but Jason is, without a doubt, the best we’ve encountered. His design sense is exceptional, and he’s incredibly communicative – he really took the time to understand our vision and explain everything clearly, even for someone like me who isn’t a construction expert. Both of our remodeling projects were completed on time and within budget, and his estimates were always accurate and fair. He really seemed to have a good handle on costs and what we could realistically achieve with our budget. The finished homes are stunning, and we’ve received so many compliments on them. More importantly, the quality of the work is outstanding and everything has held up perfectly over time.   Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the renovation AT6 completed at our home in Marin. Jason Langkammerer created a fantastic design that perfectly met our needs, and it was a really collaborative process – we worked closely together to refine the plans. While we did experience some delays due to supply chain issues, the builder did a fantastic job of keeping the project on track. The finished result is truly outstanding, and honestly, the best part was the team’s attitude.
