Mario was fantastic – I really appreciated his help when my water heater went out. He was dispatched through AHS Home Warranty, and he did a really thorough job inspecting and replacing it. I especially liked how patient and knowledgeable he was, explaining the leak issue to me and showing me how to look for problems in the future. He was professional, efficient, and easy to communicate with, which made a stressful situation much better. I genuinely feel he deserves a huge thank you and encouragement for his excellent service.

“I was really pleased with the service I received from this plumber – he was assigned through AHS and arrived promptly. He quickly and efficiently fixed my leaky faucet, completing the job in about 10-15 minutes. He was also incredibly friendly and professional, which was a great contrast to a previous experience I had where an apprentice was included and the bill was significantly inflated.”

Mario did a fantastic job fixing my kitchen faucet – he was really professional, showed up on time, and was super easy to talk to. I’d definitely recommend him!

I had a really frustrating experience with Mario from American Plumbing & Drain. My warranty company assigned him to address some leaks in my house, and unfortunately, it was a complete waste of time and money. He was incredibly rude and seemed completely rushed – he scheduled a 4-hour appointment but never called to let me know when he was on his way, despite my request. What was most concerning was his attitude; he constantly criticized the existing plumbing work in my home, questioning who had done previous repairs. Then, he went so far as to claim that every house he’d worked on in East Palo Alto had “illegal” plumbing work. He tried to convince my warranty company that the entire sewage system needed replacing just to fix the leaks, proposing a $3800 overhaul in addition to the actual repairs. Because of this outrageous demand, the warranty company refused his estimate and sent a different plumber who simply assessed the leaks and got the repairs approved without any additional cost to me. It’s really concerning how someone like Mario would try to manipulate a situation like that – I just wonder how many people might fall for his tactics.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. The owner repeatedly visited my home over several months to address the same issue without a resolution, and unfortunately, his last visit actually worsened the problem, causing a significant increase in my water bill. When I contacted him to have the work redone, I encountered a shockingly unprofessional and rude demeanor – he dismissed my concerns, interrupted me, and used inappropriate language. I strongly advise against using this company’s services; their outdated practices and lack of professionalism are completely unacceptable.

“The technician replaced the toilet float, but unfortunately, the issue persists – it’s still popping up at night and letting water leak.”
-
“I have to express my serious concerns about Mario’s conduct. He was incredibly rude and disrespectful towards both my tenants and me. Despite completing the initial repair work, the faucet continues to leak, and he’s refusing to return to fix it. Worse, he seems to be trying to inflate the problem and charge an unreasonable amount for doing so.”
-
“I honestly couldn’t have been more disappointed. This guy was incredibly rude and seemed to know absolutely nothing about plumbing. He just walked off when I was trying to get some technical questions answered – it felt like he wasn’t taking my needs seriously at all. Frankly, he was shockingly irresponsible, and I’ve encountered far better service.”
-
“I’ve been really disappointed with the service I’ve received. The technician has visited more than three times, but he seems incredibly rushed and doesn’t seem to prioritize a thorough job or making sure I’m satisfied with the long-term solution.”
-
“The service was really lacking; the staff seemed rushed and there were a lot of cleanliness issues with the water.”
