  I had a really frustrating experience with this company. They initially dismissed my concern about a persistent leak in my yard, claiming there was no problem with the house itself. Nolan, the technician, charged me $300 for a diagnostic that didn’t actually solve anything – he just pointed out the leak was somewhere between the meter and the house, a location he hadn't investigated before. Then, he presented an exorbitant estimate of $11,200 to replace the entire underground pipe line. I sought a second opinion from other plumbers, and they all confirmed that my issue was a simple, localized leak that didn’t require such a drastic and expensive solution. They were able to quickly identify and fix the problem for just $975. I contacted Orange Coast Plumbing to express my dissatisfaction with the initial $300 diagnostic fee and the completely unreasonable estimate. Nolan insisted he charged fairly and that his company didn't want to be responsible for future leaks, pushing for a full pipe replacement even though a much simpler solution existed. Honestly, the whole experience left a very bad impression, and I strongly advise against using this company – you could easily end up paying significantly more than necessary. report abuse

  I was really impressed with Orange Coast Plumbing! They responded to my call about a slab leak within two hours – that was fantastic. Colton and Alex, the technicians who came out, were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me in detail, going above and beyond what I expected. Overall, the experience was excellent, and I’m leaning towards them doing the repair, despite still getting a couple of other estimates. Definitely 5 stars! report abuse
