  I was so pleased with my recent experience ordering custom doors from this showroom in Scottsdale. I was actually visiting Tempe to see a football game when I stumbled upon their showroom and was immediately impressed by the stunning selection of doors. After a really helpful conversation, I decided to go ahead and order a pair for my front entry – and I’m so glad I did! I was a little hesitant to order from out of state (I live in Oregon), but David Woodley and his team were fantastic. They were incredibly responsive and professional, keeping me fully updated throughout the process, which took a few months as expected. The doors themselves are absolutely beautiful – knotty walnut with those cool horizontal metal strips. Delivery was also prompt, arriving just a few days after they predicted. I've received so many compliments on them, and I truly believe David and his crew set a fantastic example of customer service – I’m incredibly thankful for their whole experience. report abuse

  Overall, the experience with April and Dave was really positive. The new wood doors – both the main entrance and the casita – look fantastic and the quality of the installation was exactly what I anticipated from this company. April and Dave were both very easy to work with and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Given that these are wood doors replacing 15-year-old ones, and considering the climate here with sun and moisture, I’m proactively taking steps like adding gutters to protect them from rain. Dave also provided helpful advice on regular maintenance, which is definitely something to keep in mind for anyone living in this area. report abuse

  I couldn’t be happier with my new doors from Sun Mountain Doors! As I’ve transitioned to working from home, I needed a soundproof office space, and they completely delivered. I ordered a custom knotty alder double door with side panels and an arched transom – it’s absolutely stunning and perfectly matches the rest of my house. From start to finish, the whole experience was fantastic, thanks to David and April who were incredibly professional and always kept me well-informed.   I’m incredibly disappointed with this purchase. These doors are far too expensive, and frankly, they’ve already started to fall apart. After less than a year, the door has completely faded and turned a bright yellow – it was a beautiful brown when we bought it. When we contacted the company about this, they offered no solution at all, which was just unacceptable. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with this experience. We went back and forth quite a bit discussing the doors, but ultimately I ended up paying an extra $20,000 for walnut doors that were then painted with paint instead of a clear coat – which was never discussed and certainly not what I expected. Frankly, it felt completely unacceptable. I should have been consulted before this happened, and I would never have agreed to pay extra for a wood that was subsequently painted. It’s a huge misunderstanding and I’m very unhappy with the final result. report abuse
