I absolutely have to rave about my experience with Greg and Clear Choice Pools! I was originally looking into a Life Saver pool fence and another company completely dropped the ball, but Greg stepped in and saved the day. He quickly provided a quote that was $1000 cheaper than the other company. The fence was ordered and installed within just two weeks, and despite a rainy install day, Greg showed up and did an absolutely fantastic job. He really went the extra mile working in those wet conditions, and the finished fence looks incredible. Greg was incredibly professional, communicated really well throughout the whole process, and I would definitely recommend Clear Choice Pool Service to anyone needing pool work – I’d absolutely use him again!

“Overall, the pool maintenance was satisfactory, but there were some significant recurring issues. The team consistently damaged the self-closing gate, which is a serious concern as it’s legally required to be in perfect working order. Despite being notified about this repeatedly, the gate remained open and unlocked almost every time after they’d finished their work.”

“I’m honestly a little hesitant to give them 5 stars – I really want them to continue to thrive! But they truly do an amazing job with my pool. The team is incredibly talented and keeps it spotless. They’re also super knowledgeable, which I really appreciate. I’ve mostly dealt with them during the peak season, and it can be a bit tricky to get Greg’s attention when needed, but everyone I’ve spoken with has been friendly and helpful. I got quotes from a few different companies and found their prices to be very competitive and fair – no need to negotiate at all. I’m really looking forward to using their services for some bigger pool projects and can definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a pool company.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the service we received! Greg was fantastic – he thoroughly assessed our pool repair needs (new components, leak fix, and re-piping) and gave us a really honest and fair estimate. We scheduled the work and they arrived right on time, and the crew did an absolutely amazing job. They even went above and beyond, returning to complete the changes I’d requested. Honestly, I was considering tackling the work myself, but seeing their professionalism and skill convinced me to go with a pro, and they were truly exceptional. They were so diligent, knowledgeable, and – surprisingly – really personable. As a small business, they offer great value, flexible scheduling, and, most importantly, fantastic results. They’re now my go-to for all things pool!”

“We were really pleased with the work Greg and his team did installing our Lifesaver Pool Fence. From the very beginning, Greg was incredibly responsive – he got back to us within hours of our initial inquiry and provided a detailed quote the same day. The installation itself was professional and seamless, with the team arriving within two weeks and completing the job without any problems whatsoever. It was a fantastic experience overall.”

I was incredibly disappointed with the pool inspection A Clear Choice Pool Service provided while we were buying our new home. The inspector, Jeff, completely missed a major issue – a broken skimmer – which turned out to be very expensive to fix. It’s baffling how he didn’t notice the missing skimmer basket ring, and the basket was literally floating in the water! Honestly, any competent pool professional would have spotted this immediately. Jeff’s dismissive response, saying “I might have missed that,” was completely unacceptable given the significance of the problem. We hired A Clear Choice specifically for a thorough inspection and a detailed report, and instead we received a substandard one. Because of this oversight, we’re now facing a significant repair bill that could have been avoided. After contacting the owner, Greg Colebrook, he essentially blamed the sellers, which is understandable, but it doesn’t excuse the inspector’s failure to identify a glaringly obvious issue. I would strongly advise against using A Clear Choice Pool Service for any pool inspection. There are many other companies out there, and we certainly won’t be using them again.

Greg seems like a pleasant guy, but honestly, the quality of his work just hasn't been consistently good. It’s really difficult to get him to respond to calls or return to fix any issues that arise. I had a really frustrating experience last year when he removed and reset the pool coping – he initially got it wrong, insisted he knew what he was doing, and I had to provide old photos to show him the correct way. Thankfully, he fixed it after I pointed it out, but then the coping started coming loose again and he hasn’t returned my calls since, promising a spring fix that never happened. It’s similar to a situation a few years back with the rubber seal he installed between the patio and coping; it immediately bubbled, and he promised to fix it, but nothing ever came of it.

Overall, I had a really good experience with “A Clear Choice Pool Service.” They did a fantastic job getting my pool ready for the season last year – they identified and resolved a few issues after an inspection, and the work they did, like cleaning, re-plastering, and repairing the tiles and coping, was top-notch. The team was very professional when they were actually out there. My only slight frustration was that it can be a little tricky to get in touch with them during their busiest times, particularly in May and September.

“I just wanted to say how thrilled we were with A Clear Choice Pool Service. They were fantastic – truly awesome! From the very beginning, they kept everything on track and within our budget, and we never felt like we were being shortchanged on quality or features.”

“I can’t recommend this person’s services at all. I wouldn't trust him with a dime. He’s incredibly difficult to reach once he has your payment, and the quality of his work was shockingly poor – unfinished and frankly, a complete waste of money. Seriously, avoid him – you’re better off losing your investment.”
