  I couldn’t be happier with the kitchen and dining room remodel we had done – it’s been a dream come true! We finally tackled this project after waiting years, and it was a bit stressful finding the right team. Thankfully, a neighbor recommended Shawn and his team at Miller Home Improvement, and especially Classic Cabinets in Williamsport, led by Kendyll. They really listened to our ideas and helped us create a fantastic design. The whole process was incredibly thorough and patient, and despite some unexpected challenges with our old 1926 house, everything was handled professionally. I’d absolutely recommend Miller Home Improvement – in fact, I’m planning on working with them again soon!   Overall, our experience with Miller Home Improvement was incredibly disappointing and frankly, unacceptable. The initial installation of the bathtube cost $800, but the subsequent work – specifically the modification of the sun porch – ballooned to nearly $40,000, which feels like a massive overcharge. The quality of the work was also severely lacking. The shower consisted of flimsy panels with no backing, resulting in vibrating walls and pulling apart caulking. Furthermore, the new roof on the sun porch leaked constantly due to poor flashing around the connection to the house, and water was coming in through the brick wall near the electrical box. The shingle work itself was shoddy, with many bubbled up. Adding to the frustration, the conversion of the tin ceiling to drywall was incomplete; they finished the windows but didn't include any painting, which I had to do myself. To make matters worse, the electrical work, outsourced to another company, was done well, but Miller Home Improvement’s final bill was outrageous. They never followed through on promised returns to address initial issues, and it’s been a year of unresolved problems. We strongly advise against using Miller Home Improvement – they’re simply not a professional operation. report abuse
