  “I was really hoping to find a convenient local pump rental, especially now that I’ve just bought a home in the area. Unfortunately, the pump I received wasn’t working as expected – it wouldn’t even draw water from a hole about 4.5 feet deep, despite the owner demonstrating it pulling water from a garbage can. To make matters worse, the owner was incredibly dismissive, essentially telling me no refunds were possible and making it clear he wasn't willing to help. He even showed me a pump pulling from a garbage can as a way of saying I was wrong. And on top of that, the pump itself seemed faulty, taking a full 20 minutes to prime and still failing to draw water from a hole much shallower than the hose length. Honestly, after that initial rebuff, I wasn’t expecting any kind of assistance.” report abuse
