The installation team, Jeff, Nick, and Isaiah, were truly professionals. They arrived on time, were friendly and efficient, and went above and beyond by staying late to finish the job in a single day. I was especially impressed by their care and attention to detail, like protecting a family of baby robins nearby. Honestly, after dealing with some really disappointing experiences with other companies who weren’t upfront or even bothered to provide an estimate, Western Mass was a breath of fresh air.   “We were really pleased with the whole process of switching to heat pumps! We had two separate systems – one for upstairs and one for downstairs – and MassSave connected us with Western Mass Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing. Collin Cheek was fantastic; he took the time to explain everything involved and walked us through several different Mitsubishi heat pump options. A crew of Ben, Frank, Kody, and Sam did the actual installation, and they were truly a great team – so professional and efficient. They worked incredibly hard for three days straight, minimizing any disruption, and they left everything spotless each evening. Mike then came to ensure everything was running perfectly, and now we have two heat pumps that are incredibly efficient, extracting heat from the outside air in the winter and from inside air in the summer. They’re already working great, and the Mitsubishi system can even handle temperatures down to -14 degrees! We’re also getting a significant rebate through MassSave and a federal tax credit, plus a fantastic 7-year interest-free loan to cover the costs. Carol Moran has been a huge help coordinating everything, so we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.” report abuse

  Overall, I was really pleased with this team. A friend recommended them to me, and I can see why – they were incredibly efficient and professional. Lauren was fantastic; she made multiple trips to adjust the initial proposal based on my requests, and he was always so responsive, even when I was running behind. It’s clear they’re a busy group, but they managed to get us scheduled this week and completed the installation of three floor-level heat pumps to a really high standard. The team was punctual, communicative, kept the work area clean, and were just genuinely pleasant to have around. The finished project looks and feels fantastic. report abuse

  “We had a consultation to explore replacing our old water heater, and overall it was a really positive experience. Initially, we were told the consultation would be free, but the consultant mentioned a mileage fee which was a surprise. However, Andy, the consultant, was fantastic – he didn’t try to push a service and instead quickly diagnosed the problem, explaining that our existing tank was still in good condition. He was really knowledgeable and honest, advising us that a heat pump wouldn't be suitable for our setup and suggesting a smaller electric tank as a potential future option. We felt like Andy genuinely cared about finding the best solution for us and we were very impressed with his trustworthiness. While the issue ultimately resolved itself, we really appreciated the great experience we had during the consultation.” report abuse
