  “I’m incredibly disappointed with Ace and Sons. We had them insulate our home over 20 years ago with a promise of a follow-up heat scan to check for any gaps in the insulation. Unfortunately, they never followed through on that guarantee. I spent years trying to get them to revisit the issue, making numerous calls with no response. Since then, we’ve done some drywall work and discovered significant areas in our home where there was no insulation at all. It was a complete waste of money, and I wouldn’t recommend using this company.” report abuse

  Ace and Sons did a fantastic job insulating our attic, especially considering we have vaulted ceilings – we were a little worried it would be difficult, but they handled it perfectly! They were incredibly punctual and professional, and the team was so respectful of our home. They really took care to minimize any mess, and we appreciated how mindful they were about keeping dirt out of the house. The team that came to do the job was incredibly professional and took the time to explain the whole process thoroughly. It was also great that they cleaned up the mess inside, and they pointed out that I was seriously lacking insulation in my walls – a really important discovery!   “Ace & Sons were fantastic initially – the pricing was good and the crew was really professional. Unfortunately, things really went downhill after that. We had an infrared scan done, and one of the rooms needed some insulation touch-up, which was easily handled. However, the gentleman who did the scan promised they’d get the same crew back out to fix it, and then nothing. Two weeks passed with no communication, so I finally scheduled an appointment for today between 10am and 11am. I hadn’t heard anything, and at 11am I received a call saying the crew was having mechanical issues and they were proposing Friday as a solution – completely out of the blue! There was no apology for the disruption, and they just assumed I wouldn’t have any other commitments that week. It was incredibly rude and dismissive, especially when I explained that Friday didn't work because I had a lunch meeting. They got defensive and made it seem like *I* was the one causing the problem. It was a completely different experience from the start, and honestly, the poor customer service was shocking.” report abuse
