Mark is an incredibly talented fabricator. I’ve worked in the field myself, and I was really impressed with his work for Metal Specialties. He completely understood my vision for the aluminum fabrication and welding, executed it perfectly, and even went above and beyond what I expected. It’s rare to find someone who so accurately translates a design idea – it was truly exceptional.

Mark did a fantastic job getting that tailgate hinge back on my trailer – it was a tricky fix to get perfectly aligned. He really went the extra mile to make sure it was done right, and he was super professional and even had a great sense of humor while he worked. I’d definitely hire him again for any future welding needs.

Mark did an absolutely fantastic job repairing my cast iron planter. Two of the decorative rims had broken off, and he skillfully welded the pieces back together and then meticulously machined them down – the result was truly outstanding! It exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend this shop; Mark is a real craftsman and a pleasure to work with.

Mark was a lifesaver! When my aluminum welds on the camper cracked, he really stepped up and got it fixed for me in a few days – exactly when I needed it. I’ll absolutely be keeping his number handy for any future work I need done.

Mark did a fantastic job on this classic car project. He’s clearly a skilled artisan and really shone when it came to the practical aspects, especially the welding involved. It was a tricky project, requiring some creative solutions, and he delivered excellent results.

Mark and Metal Specialties were a lifesaver! I had a broken piece of cast iron from my vintage Delta table saw and was shocked to find almost no one willing to tackle it. Mark was the only place that said they could do it, and it turned out to be a really small, specialized shop – but the only one he knew of that worked with cast iron. He expertly repaired my part, and the price was incredibly reasonable. I’ll definitely be going back to him for any future welding needs – he’s a true expert.
-
Mark and his company did an absolutely fantastic job welding for my friend – he really vouched for them, and I’m so glad we went with them. Mark is a genuinely great guy, incredibly skilled, and has a truly impressive work ethic. I’d highly recommend him without hesitation; he’s definitely “the man” when it comes to metalwork.
-
Mark is an absolutely incredible metalworker. I recently needed a replacement part for an old swivel chair, and he actually had the original custom piece he’d made four years ago – it’s still going strong! He was able to quickly replicate the part, showcasing his true skill and expertise. Honestly, if I could give him six stars, I would. He’s a genuine master of his craft.
-
Mark and the team did a fantastic job fixing the cast iron leg on my antique stove. I was really impressed with the service – they’re clearly experts and I’d definitely recommend them.

“He was fantastic – really helpful and went above and beyond. I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone needing metalwork in the DMV area.”
