  Rick and his crew did an absolutely fantastic job transforming our backyard! We were so impressed with their professionalism and how responsive they were throughout the entire process, especially when we had to make some changes to our plans. The granite steps and grading look fantastic and have really added a wonderful new element and functionality to our outdoor space.   We were absolutely thrilled with the transformation Rick and his team created for our side yard. They expertly tackled the slope and exposed area, building a beautiful retaining wall, granite steps, and planting a lovely selection of trees and bushes that finally gave us the privacy we’d been hoping for. Rick went above and beyond by creating a detailed electronic rendering of the project – it was incredibly helpful to visualize the finished space and make changes before anything was built. Importantly, he also stayed within our budget. He’s a genuinely pleasant and easy person to work with, and we even had him back the following year to add more greenery and adjust the landscaping.   Overall, we were incredibly impressed with Maine Outdoor Spaces and Rick Tillotson – it’s truly one of the best experiences we’ve had working with a contractor. They did a fantastic job installing our heated walkway and drainage system, and the quality of the work, the design, and the attention to detail were all outstanding. We felt the cost was very reasonable. What really stood out, though, was Rick’s responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction. He immediately addressed a small concern we had with a railing, and then went above and beyond by helping another contractor correct a mistake they’d made – all without charging us a single extra penny.
