Aqua Rec’s completely changed our minds about buying a hot tub. Honestly, we’d had a really bad experience with another company and were a little hesitant going in. Chris Kovacs was fantastic – he really helped us and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. We ended up getting a hot tub that we initially thought was quite expensive, but we quickly realized that other places were selling much lower quality tubs at inflated prices. Plus, thanks to the situation with COVID-19, Aqua Rec’s was the only company that could get our tub to us in just over a month – most others were quoting 8-9 month waits! The delivery team were also incredible; they arrived ahead of schedule and handled getting the tub into our courtyard with a bit of a challenge so seamlessly. We’d absolutely recommend Aqua Rec’s – we’re planning on telling everyone we know to come here!”

I am incredibly frustrated with the entire experience with Aqua Rec. We received our hot tub back in March of 2021, and it arrived with a massive crack on one of the corner panels and a huge hole from a forklift. To make matters worse, they didn’t even notice it! Now, it’s March 28th, 2022, and we’re *still* waiting for replacement parts. Aqua Rec keeps blaming COVID and the factory for the delays, and honestly, it feels like we’re constantly chasing them down the phone. Today, they actually delivered the *wrong* corner panel! At this point, I’m not holding my breath for these things to be fixed – it feels like we’ll be waiting until 2025. It’s a truly unbelievable situation.

“I’m incredibly frustrated with the service I received. I placed my order for a hot tub cover in early October and, as of mid-December, still hadn’t received it. I’ve repeatedly called to inquire about the status, but haven’t gotten any updates or callbacks – it’s just been silence. To make matters worse, I discovered through a call to the supplier that the order hadn’t even been placed until over a month after I’d paid. It’s a really disappointing experience.”

Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with my recent experience buying a spa from Aqua Rec. My wife and I were so impressed from the very beginning – Clint and Rick were fantastic to work with, patiently guiding us through choosing the perfect spa and explaining everything clearly. We were particularly grateful that they kept us informed about the extended delivery time due to COVID-related delays, which was about nine months. The team who installed the spa did a truly professional job, and we’re thrilled with the quality of the Bullfrog spa itself. We also want to give a special shout-out to Anderson Electric, who did a fantastic job with the electrical connection. What really sealed the deal was the price – Aqua Rec offered the exact same spa with all the extras for hundreds of dollars less than any other place we looked in Kitsap County. Overall, it was a seamless and incredibly positive experience, and we highly recommend Aqua Rec.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience purchasing this Quadrafire pellet stove. I ended up with a defective unit and faced a frustrating ordeal with numerous service calls that cost me over $125. To make matters worse, the AquaRec staff were completely unethical – they even lied to me about the stove’s noise level, telling me it was practically silent. I couldn't even have a conversation with the stove on! Ultimately, I had to abandon the stove and take it to the dump. I’m done with this company and strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to think twice.

I had a really frustrating experience with Aqua Rec. I bought a stove and paid for professional installation, but they only completed half the job and then didn’t show up the next day. I spent weeks chasing them down, and eventually they told me to stop bothering their team. Finally, the stove was installed, but a week later the vent fans weren’t working. Honestly, I was so fed up with the constant hassle that I just didn’t bother contacting them for repairs. It’s been a few years now, but I recently looked for pool chemicals and remembered them. While I did have a good experience with Aqua Quip later on, it’s clear I’ll never be returning to Aqua Rec – I’ll definitely be driving a bit further for my purchases from now on.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. I ordered a hot tub cover, only to receive one that was significantly too small – a full ten inches short, and they refused to rectify the mistake. To make matters worse, they altered the paperwork, replacing my original form with a new one featuring a forged signature and incorrect measurements. After waiting over a month, they informed me they wouldn't replace the cover without an extra $400. Adding to the frustration, they sent a technician out to look at my pump, which wasn't working, and charged me $892 – nearly double the retail price of $299. Following up with a letter refusing to pay for the unnecessary repair, I never received a response, and they proceeded to charge my credit card without authorization. I’m currently disputing this charge with my credit union. Frankly, the service manager was completely incompetent, and I strongly advise anyone considering using this company to proceed with extreme caution.

“I was incredibly disappointed with this experience. I genuinely felt they offered absolutely no customer service; it’s clear from other reviews that they don’t prioritize their clients. I waited the entire day for an appointment, and not only did no one show up, but I received no communication whatsoever. Repeatedly calling only resulted in unanswered voicemails. This has been a recurring issue, and I’ve made my decision – I won’t be returning.”

Overall, we absolutely love our Quadra Fire Santa Fe pellet stove – we got it at the fair a year ago, and it’s been running fantastic! The folks at Aqua Rec were really helpful and knowledgeable. You know, pellet stoves are different from wood stoves; they have moving parts and need a bit of maintenance. Honestly, the key to a happy pellet stove is regular cleaning – about 15 minutes a month should do the trick. It's super easy! A lot of people seem to buy a pellet stove and then neglect to clean it, and then they get frustrated when things start going wrong. We’ve been so pleased with ours, as long as you keep up with the cleaning.

“I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with Aqua Rec. I had a handwritten contract with Byron for a pellet stove installation, and it quickly became clear they don’t value their customers. After paying a deposit and scheduling the installation, I received a text from Byron saying the price was going up by $183 – completely out of the blue. I even offered to help cover the cost, but they just changed the price to $141. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of me, and frankly, it was incredibly frustrating. I don’t believe they stood behind their original agreement, and I certainly won't be recommending Aqua Rec. They lost a customer and, in my opinion, their reputation for $91.50.”
