  “My wife and I really wanted to transform our old 1950s cinder block garage into something we could actually enjoy. It was a far cry from a typical remodeling job – we needed someone with real experience. As a retired general contractor with over 50 years in custom home building, I knew I needed a builder who understood the complexities involved. The garage was essentially raw: unfinished cinder block walls, exposed wiring, and the underside of the roof. Creating a new ceiling and soffits to hide everything was going to require a lot of creativity. Jason from Onsite Construction caught my eye after seeing their positive reviews online, and thankfully, he returned my call and scheduled a meeting. Jason and Eddy, who became our project manager, really got it – they understood exactly what needed to be done and created a detailed, transparent contract, breaking down the costs for each part of the project. It was reassuring to see they had all the proper insurance and licenses, and Eddy brought in a great team of subcontractors. Even though I was spending the summer in Colorado, I felt completely confident because of the clear communication and Eddy’s attention to detail. There was a slight delay in the completion timeline, but Jason stepped in quickly to get the necessary manpower on the job, and we were back on track. The finished garage is fantastic – it’s truly a first-class space that we can finally use for our cars and other projects. I'm already planning to add some finishing touches. I can’t stress enough how important good communication is, and Eddy was excellent at keeping me updated, even when I was out of state. They really took the stress out of a tricky permit violation on my driveway project in Tampa – they were incredibly responsive and kept me constantly updated with the city department. They quickly got a new site plan drawn up and then the paver team expertly corrected everything to meet all the requirements, completely resolving the issue. We reached out online with some photos of the damage we needed to assess, and Jason responded incredibly quickly and patiently answered all of our questions. He was completely honest about what he could do for us – he kindly explained that our project was too small for his company – but he provided us with some excellent advice and a realistic estimate of what we needed to look for. Honestly, after weeks of getting overwhelmed by other contractors who were pushing for major renovations and inflated prices, Jason’s straightforward approach was a huge relief. Following his recommendations, we found a fantastic company that completed the repairs quickly and within the estimated cost.
