“I’ve been consistently impressed with Bettencourt Construction and, in particular, with Belt Engineering and engineer Alvaro Zuloaga. They tackled some really demanding projects for us, and their professionalism and commitment were outstanding – truly a rare find these days. Belt is my engineer, and I’ve built a strong relationship with them; I highly recommend their services.”

Micah Geisler from Belt Engineering did a fantastic job inspecting the atrium in our Winter Park condominium. We hired him because the potential buyers had some concerns, and he responded quickly, scheduling an inspection right away. Micah was incredibly thorough, going all the way up to the roof to examine everything – the condition, age, materials, and any potential issues. He then provided us and the buyer with a clear and honest report, which really put both our minds at ease. It was great to have an independent assessment that addressed the condo association's previous concerns about the atrium’s construction.

“We hired this company based on a recommendation from a neighbor, and initially, we were pleased with their quick turnaround – they said they could deliver a report within two days for $750 with a $450 deposit. However, we’re understandably hesitant after a previous bad experience with contractors, which is why we’re in this situation now. What really concerned us was the initial conversation. When my husband called to inquire about the engineer’s credentials, the receptionist’s response about not all of their engineers being licensed in Florida felt odd. Then, when my husband followed up to schedule the appointment and specifically requested a Florida-licensed engineer because we needed this report for a lawsuit against a contractor who abandoned the job, the owner shut it down completely, saying they wouldn't get involved in litigation. Honestly, it felt like a really poor business practice. Had they known we needed this report for a legal case, they would have absolutely done the work. As engineers, they’re supposed to assess structures, identify problems, and recommend solutions – especially when that’s crucial evidence in a legal dispute. The fact that they refused service due to the potential lawsuit raises serious questions about their ethics and whether they’re truly willing to help all clients in need.”
-
“Overall, I was really pleased with Belt Engineering – they delivered my site report very quickly, within just seven days of my initial call. I’d definitely recommend them and would use their services again if I needed them.”
-
“I was genuinely so impressed with the team at Belt Engineering. They clearly put a lot of thought and care into their products – they’re beautifully designed and incredibly safe. But beyond that, the whole experience was just fantastic; it felt like working with a really friendly and approachable group. I’m really looking forward to working with them again.”

“I was so impressed with Jose and Sam’s service! They tackled a small project I had at home and went above and beyond to help me out. They completed the job really quickly, within just a few days of me getting in touch. Jose was fantastic – professional, really friendly, and he did a thorough job. We ran into a couple of unexpected issues, but they didn’t let that stop them; they stayed with the project until it was finished. I can’t thank them enough!”
-
“I’ve been consistently impressed with Belt Engineering’s work on my residential projects in St Pete. They’re a really responsive and efficient team, and I appreciate their innovative approach – it’s been fantastic to work with them.”
