Thankfully, the plumber I contacted fixed the leak itself, but the water had already caused quite a mess. ASAP Restoration responded incredibly quickly and sent a team out the same day. They completely pulled up the damaged flooring, dried everything thoroughly, and expertly replaced all the affected areas.   Overall, I had a really positive experience with this company. They were incredibly responsive – I called about black mold in my shower, and they sent a specialist out the same day to take pictures and provide a quick proposal. It took a little bit of back and forth via email to get everything finalized, but the technician who actually did the mold removal was fantastic. She was professional, efficient, and really careful, making sure all the debris was cleaned up. She even saved me money by salvaging some tiles that weren’t affected. However, when I asked about getting their contracting side to fix the damaged wall, they suggested a $2,500 minimum. To top it off, they recommended three other contractors, but I was surprised to see that none of them had a significant number of positive reviews online, and two weren't even accredited through the Better Business Bureau. So, while they did a great job tackling the mold issue, it’s worth noting their contracting side has a high minimum requirement and the contractors they suggested weren't particularly well-established. report abuse
