“Working with Marc to get all the windows for our new home was a huge undertaking, but he really made it so much easier. He was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the whole process – honestly, it was the nicest experience we’ve had with a contractor during our build!”

I’m incredibly disappointed with my Kolbe & Kolbe windows. I bought my house in 2016 and had them installed by Old Mission Windows back in 1998. While the windows themselves look beautiful, they’ve been a constant source of problems. Almost immediately after moving in, one window had a failed seal, and while covered by warranty, it cost me several hundred dollars to replace. Since then, I’ve experienced at least five more windows shattering – sometimes the inside glass, sometimes the outside, and sometimes with or without blinds. The really concerning thing is that the screens remained perfectly intact, ruling out any external damage. I contacted Old Mission Windows to get advice on preventing this, and they essentially told me it was just a normal occurrence with aging windows. Frankly, five shattering windows in five years is unacceptable for windows of this price and reputation. I’d expect a premium brand like Kolbe & Kolbe to last significantly longer. I wouldn’t risk it and would have chosen a different brand, like my parents’ windows, which have been trouble-free for over 30 years. To add to the frustration, it was actually cheaper to get a recent broken seal replaced by an outside glass shop, even though it was covered by warranty – a clear indication that Old Mission Windows’ prices and service aren't always the best.

“Old Mission Windows really stood out to me – not just because of the high-quality windows and products, but truly because of the exceptional service. They went above and beyond, demonstrating a genuine commitment to their customers. They weren't just selling windows; they were focused on understanding my needs and offering practical, real-world solutions. What was particularly impressive was their willingness to support homeowners, even if I wasn’t the original owner, showing a dedication to customer care that’s rare to find.”

“I’ve been incredibly happy with this company – I’ve used them for quite a while now and really appreciate the consistently high quality of their windows, plus the excellent local service and the strong warranty they offer.”
-
Overall, I had a positive experience – the customer service was really good and they had the part I needed. However, the price was a little higher than I was hoping for, so I’d probably look elsewhere next time if cost is a major factor.
