  Mark and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with during the construction of our dream home in Truckee. Building our house during the pandemic presented some significant challenges, and they really went above and beyond to help us through it all. They expertly handled the complex process of coordinating with the county, town, and HOA, and they secured us some fantastic partners for the surveying and design. The quality of their work is outstanding – truly top-notch – and they’ve been diligently working to bring our vision to life.   Overall, we were really pleased with MTC’s work on our new home this year. It was a particularly challenging build due to high demand and the impact of COVID-19, but the team went above and beyond to keep things moving forward as much as possible. Our on-site supervisor was fantastic, and we appreciated MTC’s commitment to quality. While we didn’t see them on-site as frequently as we’d hoped, we always felt like they were providing a professional and reliable service. report abuse

  “I recently had a bathroom remodel done at one of my properties in the Lake Tahoe/Truckee area, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The communication was completely lacking – they didn’t update me on delays, or anything really. They essentially told me they had a massive backlog of projects already underway, and frankly, didn’t seem to value my business. If you’re looking for a contractor who consistently misses deadlines and provides no communication, I would strongly advise against using this company.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with this experience. It’s clear he hasn’t paid his subcontractors, and he’s now attempting to defraud me out of $24,000. I’d strongly advise anyone considering working with his company to avoid them – I’ve heard numerous warnings from others who’ve had similar negative experiences.
