  “I can’t recommend Gale Contractor Services. Our experience was incredibly frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable. We hired them after our home inspector discovered a missing insulation issue in our new build, and from the start, things went wrong. The receptionist was the only bright spot, but beyond that, the entire experience was terrible. They didn’t even bother to call before arriving, despite my request, and one of the workers just stared at me while the other hit my door with their ladder without a word. Then they proceeded to damage my freshly painted walls and baseboards, and I had to constantly throw towels down to protect them. At one point, the worker even started laughing at me! They barely communicated, didn’t show me any proof they’d completed the job, and left a huge mess in my house that they didn’t clean up. To top it all off, the worker who wasn’t speaking to me actually spat on my driveway as he walked away. It felt incredibly unprofessional and, honestly, a bit sexist – I truly believe they would have treated my husband differently. I’ll be having our home inspector back out to verify their work, and I strongly advise anyone in Tucson to hire a different company for insulation installation. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a contractor.” report abuse

From start to finish, it was incredibly smooth – they completed the job within two weeks of our initial consultation. I was particularly impressed with how responsive they were to my specific needs; speaking directly with one of their representatives really solidified my confidence in their ability to deliver exactly what I wanted, and their prices were the best I found around town. They were consistently difficult to reach, the instructions were unclear, and the overall planning and organization left a lot to be desired.   “I was really impressed with Gale Contractors. I had a pretty unusual problem – insulation had collapsed into a drop ceiling, creating a 7-foot drop! Because of the safety concerns, I knew I needed a professional, and I was a little hesitant to call anyone. But from the first phone call, Gale was fantastic. The estimator came out that same afternoon, gave me a fair estimate, and scheduled the work for a few days later. What really stood out was the crew – they arrived early, were incredibly prepared with headlamps and everything they needed, and were just really friendly and easy to talk to. The whole job was done in about an hour. The billing and follow-up was also super efficient. Honestly, this experience completely rebuilt my confidence in finding reliable contractors.   “I was so impressed with this contractor! They really took the hassle out of getting my insulation installed. They waited for the electrician to complete their work, and then finished the insulation job in just about an hour – a huge difference from the day it would have taken me to do it myself.   “We were really pleased with the work done – they blew in extra insulation in the attic because of some settling and also added it to the garage where there hadn’t been any before. The whole job was completed quickly, in about an hour, and the two guys did a fantastic job, including cleaning up afterwards. Flo was also incredibly helpful to deal with, and the price was exactly what we expected. We’d definitely recommend them!” report abuse

  “Honestly, my experience with this place was incredibly frustrating. As a contractor, I really felt like I wasn’t welcome – the staff seemed uninterested in my business from the moment I arrived to pick up insulation. There were no clear directions, and I ended up wandering around the warehouse trying to find someone to help, even after paying at the front desk. It was completely disorganized. Adding to that, they locked the gate as I was leaving, and I had to wait ages to get someone to open it for me. Then, to top it off, I needed to exchange two bags of insulation due to a size issue on the job site, but the staff simply refused, stating all sales are final, despite it being a commercial account and the bags never being opened. It felt like they just didn't care. I ultimately switched to FBM for our insulation needs – they were professional, helpful, and even offered returns with a reasonable restocking fee. I don’t understand why anyone would choose to do business with Gale again.” report abuse
