  I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I scheduled a visit on May 9th for a contractor to measure my property and discuss fencing options, but the experience was incredibly unprofessional and unresponsive. He was efficient with the initial measurements and we talked about the different choices, and he promised to send me a few quotes. However, I only received one quote on May 12th, and despite emailing him back requesting additional options and even clarifying my needs with revised blueprints, I never heard back. After weeks of silence, I followed up multiple times on May 24th and June 29th, still without any response. Finally, he replied on June 30th, claiming an IT issue was preventing him from sending further quotes, but it’s clear he simply didn't follow through as promised. The fact that he waited until I was about to move forward with another company before admitting he hadn’t sent the quotes is unacceptable. To add insult to injury, he sent a brief apology a day after, admitting he hadn't actually provided the information I’d requested. It’s a clear sign of a lack of communication and a serious failure to deliver on his commitments. report abuse

  Overall, we were really pleased with The Postman’s work. They installed our fence about five years ago, and it still looks fantastic and was completed on time and within budget. We recently needed a section replaced and a double gate added, and they handled that job just as well. It was a little slow getting a quote initially – I’d reached out about two months prior and hadn’t heard back, but I later learned the owners were dealing with some personal matters at the time. They’ve since resolved those issues and are back to full strength. I’d definitely recommend them. report abuse

  “I have to be honest, dealing with the Postman was incredibly frustrating. He was great when he initially gave us the quote, but after that, he completely disappeared. It took weeks for him to even respond, and then he didn’t follow through on his promises. The fence work itself was also shoddy – the posts were unevenly installed. More concerningly, he disconnected our temporary sprinkler system to use the water for his own concrete, and didn’t reconnect it, which resulted in our new sod drying out and turning brown. We now have to wait for the sprinkler company to come back and fix the mess.” report abuse

  Overall, I was really pleased with the work – the fence itself is fantastic quality and the workmanship is top-notch. Jake, Billy, and Lance were all incredibly professional and friendly, making the whole experience really positive. I’d absolutely recommend them. report abuse

  I was really pleased with The Post Man out of Vicksburg. They completely exceeded my expectations – when other companies were just saying “maybe” about getting my fence installed in the spring, they finished the job in just two weeks! I even checked the cost of materials myself, and it would have been more expensive to do it myself. The work was absolutely perfect, straight and true. report abuse

  “I was really surprised by the quote I received – it was significantly more expensive than other options I’d been looking at. I also wasn’t thrilled with the short one-year warranty.   We were really disappointed with this experience. The initial gentleman came out to get measurements and provided an estimate, which was a good start. However, the second person who arrived seemed completely unfamiliar with fence installation and simply measured without offering any advice or suggestions. Now they’re not even returning our calls – it’s been incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. report abuse
