  Overall, I’ve been really pleased with Independent Pools. They’ve taken care of my pool for several years now, including installing a new heater and pump motor, and they’ve always been reliable. Communication has been excellent – Margo and Diane are very responsive and always follow through on their promises. Most importantly, they’re dependable and show up when they say they will.   “I was really frustrated with this company. I’d used them before and booked a pool closing appointment four weeks in advance. I then called a week before to see if we could get an earlier slot, but was told my appointment had been cancelled without any warning. They said they were too busy to fit us in, leaving us scrambling to find another company at the last minute. It seemed like they only prioritize their regular maintenance customers, and frankly, it felt incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. However, I’m pleased to say the new company we found was fantastic – they were very skilled and able to schedule us on short notice. It seems like there’s inconsistency with their technicians, but we were incredibly happy with the service we ultimately received.” report abuse

  “We had a really frustrating experience with Independent Pool. Things started well when they opened our pool for us – they were punctual, efficient, and gave us a helpful overview. However, once we needed their help with a leak, everything went downhill. They were incredibly slow to respond, rescheduling our initial appointment two weeks out. Then, a technician unexpectedly showed up to our property without an appointment, accessing our sheds and leaving equipment scattered on our deck. Most concerning was the complete lack of communication; we didn’t hear back about the leak or what they planned to do. Adding to the frustration, they kept canceling our appointments, ultimately citing a lack of time in their schedule—even though they hadn’t provided us with any diagnosis or plan of action. On top of that, they arrived the day before our final appointment with Dig Safe flags all over our yard without any warning. It was clear they simply weren’t prioritizing our needs, and the ongoing cancellations and poor communication were unacceptable. We ultimately had to cancel again and are now working with a company that respects our time and keeps us informed. We definitely wouldn’t recommend Independent Pool.” report abuse
