  “I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to say Steve was fantastic. We ended up not needing his services, but honestly, if we still required them, we would have absolutely gone with him. His honesty was truly outstanding – unlike some other waterproofing companies I’ve dealt with where the sales pitch felt incredibly heavy-handed. Steve was completely upfront about what needed to be done and gave me a really competitive price. He even offered some really helpful, free advice.   I just want to give a huge shout-out to George from Worldwide Waterproofing. He was fantastic! We had a water problem in our basement and he quickly and accurately identified the issue – it was actually coming from our hot water heater, not our sump pump. Honestly, he saved us a significant amount of money that other companies were trying to charge us. He was incredibly knowledgeable, explained everything clearly and concisely, and his inspection was completely free. It was so refreshing to work with someone who was honest and genuinely wanted to help, rather than trying to take advantage of our situation.   Overall, Worldwide did a fantastic job with the waterproofing of our basement and foundation. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive and had someone out promptly to provide an estimate. I really appreciated how they took care of the work outside – they dug, and when they were finished, my yard was actually in better condition than before! They also expertly installed a trench in our finished basement. While they did need to remove a little drywall, which was fully explained by each company, I was happy with the quality of their work and the contractor they recommended to handle the repairs.   “I can’t say enough good things about Worldwide, especially George. Honestly, after a really stressful situation with a water leak in our new home, I’ve learned to be incredibly picky about contractors, and Worldwide stood out as genuinely honest and dedicated to finding a real solution. We initially contacted them about the issue, and thankfully were connected with Summer, who was fantastic – so friendly, empathetic, and professional. George arrived quickly, and he was a straight shooter, really knowledgeable about the area and didn't try to oversell us. He immediately recognized the problem was more complex than a simple waterproofing issue, and he was incredibly patient, coming back multiple times to help us pinpoint the root cause – ultimately, it turned out to be a problem with the exterior wall. What really impressed us was George’s commitment to finding the best, most cost-effective solution. Unlike some other contractors we spoke with who just suggested a sump pump, he stuck to his guns and helped us work with our chosen construction company. He even followed up with us afterward to see how things were going! It was clear he genuinely cared about our well-being, and he treated us like people, not just clients.   I’m incredibly frustrated with this company’s handling of my crawlspace issue. They installed jacks back in August of 2019, supposedly to stabilize my house, but now my floor is still sinking – a direct result of their work. It’s been a nightmare getting them to acknowledge the problem; I started reaching out in late 2020 and it took them over a year to even begin addressing it. They’ve consistently pushed back inspection requests, despite my repeated requests – I've asked four times this month alone – for an engineer to assess the situation. Frankly, it feels like they’ve completely ignored the issue and haven’t taken any responsibility. I’m left wondering what my options are now that this faulty construction has caused significant damage. report abuse
