Honestly, the Jim Lake Kayak tour was fantastic! My sisters and I had such a great time – Danika was an absolutely amazing guide; she was so knowledgeable, really relaxed and just felt like another one of our sisters. The inflatable kayaks were super comfortable and easy to use, and I loved the life jackets they provided. They even took care of all the setup and breakdown, which was such a nice touch and made us feel really spoiled. It was the perfect day too, with beautiful sunshine and a gentle breeze. I’d definitely recommend this route as a great starting point for anyone wanting to try kayaking – it totally convinced us to explore more!

“This was my first time kayaking, and I had an absolute blast! Our guide, Danika, was fantastic. I really wish we’d been able to paddle further – the river was still pretty icy and had a strong current in some spots. Despite that, the views of the mountains were breathtaking and really showcased the beauty of Alaska.”

“We had an amazing time ice fishing in December – despite the cold! Derek, our guide, was fantastic – so knowledgeable, patient, and just a really nice guy. The heated tent was seriously awesome too. Definitely worth braving the winter weather!”
