  Honestly, my experience with this company was incredibly disappointing. I contacted them for a quote, and the salesperson arrived over three hours late without so much as a phone call to let me know he was running behind. He then proceeded to tell me I needed a complete roof replacement for $9,000, despite the roof only being about 10 years old – he hadn’t even inspected it properly! I contacted another contractor who simply identified a couple of minor issues and repaired them for just $20. To add to the frustration, I’ve been receiving constant marketing emails from Sexton with no way to unsubscribe, and it appears they’ve been sharing the email addresses of all their customers. I brought this to their attention, but they completely ignored my concerns. report abuse

  “We were so impressed with Sexton Roofing – it’s the second time we’ve used them, and they were fantastic! Everyone we dealt with, from the office staff to our project manager and especially the roofing crew, was incredibly professional and did a truly outstanding job. They worked diligently for 11 hours, and despite the mess it created on our property, they left everything spotless the next morning.   I hired this company for a shingle replacement on my low hip roof, and unfortunately, I’m really disappointed with the quality of the work. I’d read positive reviews that led me to choose them, and I wanted to share my experience honestly. They initially told me it wasn’t standard practice to remove the old shingles before installing new ones, but I went ahead with the job as requested. What I received was concerning – the new shingles were simply laid over the existing ones, and a damaged shingle was left in place, nailed down with silicone, and even torn. I wasn't an expert, but my own contractor and another roofer I consulted were both extremely critical of the workmanship, stating it was shoddy and would make them angry if their team had done it. The owner seemed dismissive of everyone’s concerns, insisting there was no problem and that the intentional tearing of the shingle was acceptable. He even offered to refund my money, which he then retracted, making the whole interaction quite unpleasant.
