    I’m so incredibly disappointed with my experience with both Suburban Hvac and, to a degree, Ecobee. Initially, the installation went smoothly, and I gave a five-star review based on that. However, three years later, I’m facing a major issue with my furnace and Ecobee thermostat, and it’s been a complete nightmare to resolve. It turns out the problem wasn’t the thermostat, as I was initially led to believe, but a faulty furnace limit switch. After countless troubleshooting steps, including changing filters and having the vents cleaned – costing me $1200 – a particularly knowledgeable Ecobee representative finally identified the issue. Unfortunately, Suburban Hvac offered absolutely no help. The representative I spoke with was incredibly condescending, reading me the fine print about the one-year warranty and refusing to acknowledge that they might have made a mistake. It felt like they were trying to shift the blame onto me. Honestly, it’s frustrating to feel like you’re being dismissed and treated like you’re unintelligent. I’m a homeowner who takes care of my own projects, and it’s disheartening to be met with such a dismissive attitude. I’m currently dealing with a serious health issue and simply don’t have the energy to fight this, but I wanted to share my experience to warn others – don’t just accept their initial advice blindly, and be wary of companies that don't stand behind their work. report abuse

    Overall, I was really pleased with Suburban’s service when my AC system completely failed during that crazy heatwave. They responded incredibly quickly and sent someone out to diagnose the problem. While it turned out the whole system needed replacing, they scheduled the installation within a week, which was a huge relief. The technicians who did the work were fantastic – really professional, polite, and they took great care not to make a mess. Given that this was a significant unexpected expense, I especially appreciated Suburban offering a 6-month no-interest payment plan. They really went above and beyond to make the whole process as smooth as possible, and I’m very happy with the service I received. report abuse

    Overall, we were incredibly pleased with Suburban’s service from start to finish. Honestly, we went in knowing absolutely nothing about HVAC systems, and they made the entire process so much easier. They were incredibly responsive, took the time to explain everything clearly, and addressed all of our concerns – especially since it was getting cold in October. Bobby Rinn was fantastic, always offering practical solutions and answers. The installation crew, led by Michael, was incredibly diligent and hardworking, and we really appreciate their efforts. And we also want to thank Ann Marie St. Germain and the team for handling all the paperwork and guiding us through the rebate process. It’s a huge relief to have an installer you can trust, especially when dealing with such a big investment. We initially chose them based on the recommendations we’d seen, and while it took a little time to get the final quote, once we had it, the installation went incredibly smoothly. What really stood out was the professionalism and care the Suburban crew took – especially Bobby, who worked closely with me to ensure we got the exact design we wanted. My neighbor, an architect, and I both agreed that the quality of the installation was critical to the system’s success, and we’re very happy with the Carrier system and Suburban’s service.
