  “I was so impressed with Nielsens Plumbing! They responded to my call incredibly quickly – they were actually at my house within an hour, which was amazing considering all the flooding in Willmar. They got my floor drain cleared in about 20 minutes using a Jetter, and I couldn’t be happier. Seriously, the team was fantastic, and I highly recommend them – 5 stars!” report abuse

  Honestly, we were really hoping this service would fix our basement drain issue, and it seems to have worked, but we’re left feeling a little let down about the overall experience and the price. The technicians were friendly and seemed to know what they were doing, but the cost was just too high. We’d had other plumbers do similar work in about an hour, but this company charged us for three hours, including travel time. It just felt excessive considering they were only actually working at our house for an hour and a half. To add to that, the job wasn't fully completed initially, which meant the owner had to come back – thankfully, that was without extra charges – but it still took a huge chunk of my day. We appreciate their responsiveness, but overall, we can’t really recommend this company, especially considering the price. If you’re looking for drain cleaning, it's probably worth checking out a few different options first.” report abuse

  “I hired this service to clear a clogged drain, but unfortunately, the experience was incredibly unprofessional. They not only failed to address the drain issue, but they also carelessly dumped a large amount of waste into my front yard and splattered more throughout my basement. I was incredibly lucky my dog didn’t get access to the yard – it was a serious safety hazard. I would absolutely not recommend this service.” report abuse

  Overall, the plumber did a good job getting the drain unclogged, and he was punctual. However, I was pretty disappointed with the experience. He’s a quiet guy, and I get that sometimes people are just having a tough day, but I felt like a more thorough inspection would have been beneficial. Given that I’ve had this issue before, I expected him to use a plumbing snake to really investigate the cause of the clog and potentially prevent it from happening again. The $300 bill felt a bit high considering my previous experience, and I wish he’d discussed that with me beforehand. Moving forward, I’ll definitely be asking more questions and clarifying expectations before hiring someone for future plumbing issues. report abuse

  I’m really disappointed with this service. The technician spent an excessive amount of time bringing in hoses, and he repeatedly went back and forth, essentially just repeating the same diagnosis. It took him over an hour, but he only spent about 10 minutes actually working on the issue, and then tried to add an extra $200 to the bill. To make matters worse, he damaged the drain cover without apologizing. Honestly, the whole experience was quite frustrating and unprofessional – I would strongly advise against using this service. report abuse
