“I was absolutely thrilled to find Alex and MD Masonry! It was so difficult to locate a genuine stone mason who’s passionate about working with real stone – I’d been repeatedly told I couldn’t have it on my pool house. Luckily, I discovered Alex, who’s a fantastic craftsman and artist. He’s a mechanical engineer who taught himself stone masonry, and his work is breathtakingly beautiful. He’s incredibly responsive, energetic, and completely dedicated to his craft, and he’s also a really honest and kind guy. He delivered exquisite, meticulous work at a fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend MD Masonry – seriously, don’t settle for anything less than real stone!”

Alex and his team did an absolutely fantastic job restoring my historic stone basement. My home is an early 19th century build with original stonework, and the mortar had really deteriorated, leaving the basement looking quite rundown. Alex was so easy to work with – he gave me a quick and fair quote, and he kept me updated on the scheduling every step of the way. But honestly, the quality of the work itself was incredible. They completely removed the old, crumbling mortar and replaced it perfectly, even adding a beautiful recessed seam that really brought out the original character of the stones. You can tell they genuinely care about doing a great job. The whole project was finished in a single day, they were incredibly efficient and left the area spotless. I highly recommend Alex and his team – they’re fantastic!
