  We were absolutely thrilled with the work MJR did on our home! Matt was fantastic – he was always there bright and early, walking us through the plans for each day and the team of Matt, Jimmy, and Seth were consistently professional and responsive throughout the entire project. They were incredibly flexible and handled all of our questions and changes with ease. And we have to give a huge shout-out to Katie for her amazing help with the logistics and billing – she really took the stress out of everything. We’re so happy with our new siding and roof, and we’ve already gotten so many compliments from friends and neighbors about the beautiful transformation!   Working with Matt and his team at MJR Remodeling and Building was a really positive experience. They were incredibly responsive – unlike some other contractors we spoke with, Matt returned our call right away and we quickly scheduled a meeting to discuss our barn/garage siding project. He was great at listening to our concerns and offered some helpful suggestions. The crew worked really hard and efficiently, and Matt kept us updated regularly throughout the whole process, which took about six weeks in total.   Working with MJR, and particularly Matt and his team, was an absolute pleasure. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation. We recently had a complete bathroom remodel – essentially rebuilding it from the studs – and our basement fully finished, including a full bathroom and a sauna. What really stood out was their responsiveness. Katie was always incredibly helpful when we called, and Matt or she would get back to us almost immediately if we left a message. It was such a welcome change from previous experiences where you’d be left wondering if you’d even be contacted. They genuinely made us feel like their priority. Matt was fantastic at listening to our vision and offering practical solutions. His estimates were incredibly detailed, with a clear payment schedule tied to specific milestones, so there were no unexpected costs. And the crew – alongside their excellent subcontractors like Notturno Plumbing and Heating – were truly outstanding. Everyone communicated brilliantly, and the quality of their workmanship was top-notch. They even had to coordinate closely with the sauna installer, and their teamwork ensured everything was completed to exact specifications.   We absolutely loved working with MJR on our kitchen update – the new hardwood flooring, countertops, and backsplash turned out fantastic! Matt was fantastic throughout the entire process; he was so helpful, really knowledgeable about everything, and incredibly responsive. He kept us constantly in the loop with daily updates and clearly laid out what to expect next, and he always answered our calls and texts so quickly. It was so reassuring knowing he was on top of things, and he really took the time to understand exactly what we were hoping to achieve. We especially appreciated that he utilized local companies for the work, which was really important to us.   Overall, Matt and his team did a fantastic job with our deck replacement. From the initial consultation through to the finished product, we were really impressed. Matt was incredibly helpful, patiently walked us through all our options, and provided a detailed, competitive quote. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and the build team were professional, friendly, and incredibly considerate – they even kept the noise level down while I was working from home. You can clearly see they take a lot of pride in their work, and the new deck looks absolutely amazing.
