Overall, the service was quite efficient, and the team was prompt in completing their work. However, communication with residents was a significant area for improvement. Despite distributing flyers, it seemed they were frequently lost due to weather and children, and updates weren’t consistently provided. It’s appreciated that the trash company and mail carrier were kept informed, but proactive communication about roadwork, especially with advance notice of two days, would greatly improve the experience.

“I wanted to share my experience with the road work done in Byron Center. Unfortunately, the residents weren’t notified in advance that the road was being temporarily converted to one way, even during lunchtime. This forced me to drive a significant 3.8 miles to get around the block. On top of that, the crews didn't properly address the disturbed areas where they’d removed the grass – leaving a huge mess of dead grass and a lot of exposed dirt. I’ve spent a good hour cleaning it up. Considering these issues, I won’t be recommending their services going forward.”
