  “Overall, we had some significant issues with this company. It felt like they weren’t proactively managing the project – we constantly had to remind them about cleanup, even after they’d been told it was expected. There were also serious discrepancies with the construction; the stairs were built narrower than specified in the contract, and we had to point out that the materials for the spindles didn’t match what was agreed upon. It was frustrating that these problems weren’t addressed before the contract was finalized, and the response we received – to simply ‘not worry about it’ – was unacceptable.” report abuse

  Alabama Decks completely exceeded our expectations – they took our deck idea and turned it into something truly exceptional.   I was incredibly pleased with the work Alabama Decks & Exteriors did on my house. Mr. Brady responded quickly to my request for a quote on replacing my vinyl siding and removing some stone columns, and he promptly scheduled a visit to assess the job. He thoroughly explained the entire process, and he actually suggested replacing my windows with more energy-efficient options, which I found really helpful. Within four days, they’d completely transformed the exterior of my home – new vinyl siding, brand-new gutters and soffit, three custom-cut high-efficiency windows, and they even extended my back door overhang to protect my dogs from the rain. What really stood out was their attention to detail; they even spray-painted my outdoor light fixtures to match my new color scheme! They were incredibly efficient, respectful of my time and property, and I wholeheartedly recommend Alabama Decks & Exteriors for any renovation or restoration project. report abuse

  Overall, Brady and his team did a really efficient job getting the project completed on time. They were professional and left the site clean, which was great. However, there were some significant issues. Three years after the initial work, the screen still has a noticeable rip and hasn’t been addressed. It felt like they were trying to pass off a defect rather than fix it properly. Additionally, the caulking needed replacing due to leaks, and the residue left behind from the work was quite messy and they simply suggested I handle it myself – a frustrating response considering the cost of the job. report abuse
