  We absolutely loved our new deck and can’t recommend Alabama Decks & Exteriors enough! Our old deck was nearing the end of its lifespan, and we decided to go with a complete renovation to include a covered area. From the very beginning, working with Scott Lamoreaux was a pleasure. He was incredibly thorough, making multiple visits to our house and patiently answering all of our questions. The whole process was incredibly smooth – there were no unexpected costs or issues. The crew, led by Marcos, were fantastic. They were so efficient and fast, and we were genuinely impressed with how quickly they got the job done. What really stood out was their attention to detail; they completely understood our vision for an outdoor living space, including the columns, railing, and fireplace we requested, and they brought it to life beautifully. They were also incredibly clean and organized, which we really appreciated. Communication was fantastic throughout the entire project, and they went above and beyond to ensure the deck was ready for our birthday party.   “Overall, I was really pleased with AL Decks. They came up with a great suggestion for using cedar for my patio screening and even recommended a custom wood door to really tie the whole look together – and their price was very competitive. Once I got HOA approval, they were able to get me scheduled quickly, and the materials arrived and the construction started within a few days. I especially appreciated how responsive and reliable they were throughout the whole process, always keeping me updated.   We’re absolutely thrilled with our new deck, stairs, and porch – it’s exceeded all our expectations! We want to give a huge thanks to Scott, Kevin, and the entire team who did such a fantastic job. They tackled a really complex project, carefully removing our old grilling deck and steep stairs, and then skillfully reframed our existing covered porch to accommodate our custom screen windows. The finished result is stunning – a beautiful, maintenance-free composite deck with aluminum railings, and sturdy stairs with lovely LED lighting and a welcoming landing. Plus, they installed the Sunspace 4-track screen windows, and we’re particularly pleased with the waterproof LVP flooring they installed, which seamlessly matches the deck and truly transforms the porch into a comfortable space we can enjoy all year round. report abuse
