  “Aquaguard did the waterproofing in my basement and crawl space about 2.5 years ago, and while the price was really good and Mike seemed like a trustworthy guy, I’m now really regretting the decision. Initially, everything seemed fine – the job was done quickly, and I didn’t experience any water problems. However, shortly after, I noticed some serious issues with the encapsulation in my crawl space. The taping was sloppy, with a lot of loose caulking around the doors and windows, and the sump basin cover had a huge gap. The crawl space encapsulation itself looked like it was pieced together from scrap materials, with noticeable creases in the tape. I initially figured they were just using industry standards, but now I’m dealing with the fallout. About two and a half years later, the tape joints in the crawl space are completely failing, letting in moisture and awful smells from the soil. I contacted Aquaguard, and they completely brushed me off, saying it was too long since the installation to fix for free. It’s unbelievable – they’re saying the system isn’t leaking, therefore it’s not their problem. To make matters worse, I later found out another company, BDry, inspected the crawl space and agreed it was improperly installed, but they didn't actually do the original work. It’s clear they weren't standing behind their installation, and I’m left with a significant problem.” report abuse

  “I was extremely disappointed with this service. From the start, there was a serious misrepresentation of what the job would involve, and communication was consistently poor – they just showed up without any prior contact. Worse still, the crew damaged an electrical cord in my wall and simply covered it with electrical tape without addressing the safety hazard. The customer service I received was shockingly indifferent to my concerns and the potential danger, which was incredibly concerning and unacceptable.” report abuse
