  “I contacted Alabama Foundation Specialists about a problem with my house’s slab, and it turned out to be a large tree root – something they weren’t able to fix. However, during their thorough inspection, they identified that poor drainage around the slab, caused by an improperly graded yard, was contributing to the issue. They suggested a new gutter system would help alleviate some of it, which I really appreciated. Mason, Jesse, and Chris did an absolutely fantastic job installing the gutters, especially considering how hot it was while they were working! Seriously, thank you all – especially Mason, Jesse, and Chris – for your hard work and dedication.” report abuse

  Honestly, I’m really disappointed with my experience with this company. While the workers themselves were fantastic and very kind, the project just wasn’t delivered as promised. I needed some significant work done, and unfortunately, they completely missed the mark. They made promises that weren't kept, and ultimately, the work cost me over $25,000 with very little improvement. After a lot of frustration, AFS finally stepped in, listened to my concerns, and got things back on track. I'm grateful for their responsiveness and the final result, but I can’t recommend this company for anything beyond basic jobs – especially if you’re dealing with a complex or older property. report abuse

  Overall, I was really pleased with the work AFS did. They arrived on time and the foreman, Uber, explained the entire process clearly, emphasizing the safety measures – stopping the lift if he heard any cracking. Jorge and Juan Pablo were right there with him, and they all communicated well throughout the lifting process. I especially appreciated that Uber sent me pictures afterward showing the work they’d done – the holes they dug and the gravel they used to stabilize the jacks under my house. Now I know my home is properly supported, and I feel a huge sense of relief. Uber also gave me his contact information and said he’d be happy to come back and make any adjustments I might need in a few months. Uber and his team were all incredibly friendly and polite – they greeted me warmly, smiled, and even called me “ma’am.” It’s wonderful to work with such professional and considerate people.   Mathew and John did an absolutely fantastic job with my driveway! They were both so professional and friendly, and really took the time to explain everything to me – how the process works, when I could start driving on it, and even how to check it.   “I initially had AFS piers installed by the previous homeowner, and I recently noticed a sinking floor in the corner of my house. I had a quick ‘inspection’ done – it really felt like a sales pitch – and they quoted me on an encapsulation job, but didn’t mention the existing piers. After that, I started looking into other options, but then AFS reached out to do an inspection. Tony Marlowe came out, listened to my concerns about the sinking floor, developed a plan, and explained it all to me.
