We got quotes from a few different companies and chose AFS specifically because of Chris Smith – he was incredibly professional and took the time to explain everything so clearly, even showing me how he used the laser level to diagnose the issue. The crew that actually did the work were fantastic too, especially Victor, the foreman, who was really experienced and always kept us updated.   “Austin, the inspector from AFS, was a really refreshing experience. He took the time to thoroughly examine our property and the issues with the flooding on our walkway. While AFS couldn’t actually help us with the landscaping problem, Austin was completely honest about that and didn’t try to push us into services we didn’t need – which was a huge relief for my husband.   “Overall, we were really pleased with the work Jarrod and his crew did. They arrived on time, and Jarrod took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, including the costs and how everything would be done. He was incredibly polite and professional, and he answered all of our questions really well. After 25 years of a persistent leak in our basement, Joe and his team quickly and effectively resolved the issue. They installed a drain, pump, and pipe, and properly sealed the wall.   “We were really impressed with AFS – specifically, Abe Austin. We hired them to address a crack in our foundation and waterproofing in our crawl space, and given our location in a flood zone, it was a top priority. Abe took the time to thoroughly inspect the area and patiently walked us through his findings and proposed solutions with my husband and me. He really put us at ease and made us feel confident in his expertise and AFS’s work. Once the project started, Breon and his team – including Mauro and Alejandro – were fantastic. They completed the entire foundation support system and crawlspace encapsulation in a single day, and were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.   “Kevin and Chris did an absolutely fantastic job repairing our porch. They were both so professional and friendly, and really took the time to explain everything they were doing. We really appreciated how consistently they updated us and answered all our questions. They not only fixed the problem perfectly, but they also went above and beyond, cleaning up all the debris and even offering to put our garden hose back up – we were really impressed with their attention to detail and respect for our property and our plants.
